    Wasser

    Hello Wasser,

I have not tested the reboot on the T-R42 unit as it does not work right with the
normal sleep on/off after using it 3-5 times ...

But the K-R42 does the same thing after I use the Reboot Power option ...
Otherwise the K-R42 works great ...

Sometimes this version goes to sleep and I can NOT reconnect with Ethernet
    But NOT always ...

Is there something else I can Test ??? to help ?

      Hello Wasser,

This kernel is different from the last one you sent me ...
For some reason the 1080p Screen acts very different like it is not scaled / aligned correctly
and Part of the top moves to the bottom of the screen ...

The previous version you sent me did not have this issue ...

I do NOT know what is causing it ... ?? or how or/if it is effecting anything else ?

I did some tests last night with this new kernel and got the same thing. The Search bar on top got cut off. The status bar shifted to the right and the TV screen is flickered at the bottom.

Sleep/Wake Up still not working right. Pressing Power button on IR remote once now put the device into Sleep mode instead of bringing up the Sleep/Power Off/ Reboot screen.

Sleep/Wake Up would work only 1st and 2nd attempts. 3rd attempt either shut the device off or I have to use the little button on device to wake it up.

        Thanks

the default screen size is set to 100 in new kernel, in previuos kernel it's 95. it could be that it's a cause of this issue. Please try to resize your screen in settings->screen

                  Wasser,

Scailing/Resize under /Settings/Screen did not resolve the issue.

Thanks for your hard work on fixing the Sleep/Wake Up issue. Please take your times and hopefully you can crack this one as we all know it is tough and takes time. Your 1.2 firmware has been stable for me and it is working flawless. It is a big bonus if the Sleep/Wake Up issue is fixed and the firmware would be perfect.

                  Thanks

but roms are not stable, make the device auto shutdown by itself after a few hours. Does anyone have the same problem?
I have other sticks that I use in addition to the t-r42. You need have a boot/kernel combination that will actually DISPLAY 1920x1080P. Even though you set 1920, you are still only getting 1280x720p.

If you don't believe me, set your resolution to 1280x720p and you'll see that the screen format and resolution hasn't changed. When you have a 1080P kernel (and not a 1080P boot), the 1280x720p is exactly the same as 1920, but the 1920 setting looks clearer.

If you have another stick that has the correct combination, you'll see a substanstial screen density change at 1920 (as you should). The icons in the lower left are also smaller, again as they should for a higher resolution.

I've flashed back to the original stock rom because I need stable one.

I'll try to get back to your rom later to get the dmesg. Thank you.

                        bluetooth issue

When receiving file from bluetooth, the wifi was interfered. In stock rom, wifi will be disconnect, and in wasser's rom, wifi will not be disconnected, but just cannot get to the internet until the transfer from bt finished.

I'm not sure the issue because i don't have other device to compare, but i tried to change the resolution from 1080 to 720, there is no big difference change in the screen. When lower than 720, the font will get mist that i cannot see. Thank you.
