Looks like Pipo has some work to do on their kernel.
I'm off to a class all afternoon, so keep testing and posting.
Thanks for all the input.Randy

Firstly I'd just like to say hi everyone, this is my first post here, have had an m9 pro about two weeks and have been following this thread and using rileys rom so just thought i would add a little info to the mix as it might explain a few problems others seem to be having....
When i first got the tablet i had issues with wifi and lockups/freezes and the whole system was laggy at times, so i tried all of the custom ROMs available but nothing seemed to work, so i returned the tablet to the seller and was sent another which the seller tested first, this new tablet has no issues at all everything works well wifi is great and no lockups or freezes, so it would seem that some of the problems are likely caused by faulty hardware and no matter how good Randy is, if you got one of the bad tablets you problems are unlikey to be solved by a rom, this would explain why people using the exact same ROM are having problems and some aren't....
Oh and to the guy having issues with real racing 3...the game runs great for me no lags at all (it actually runs better than it does on my galaxy s3!!)

I'm pretty sure it's a kernel problem. Hopefully, Pipo will fix it.Randy

You can install CWM on any rom with arctools, get it at link above. I install it on stock roms with this

I include the generic version of CWM in my ROM kit. You just use the flash tool that is provided with the ROM to flash it. Just click the box next to recovery in the flash tool and browse to the RileyROM folder and select the cwmrecovery.img as your recovery.
If you already have the ROM flashed and don't want to start over, just uncheck everything except recovery in the flash tool and flash without erasing IDB.Randy

for all those who are experiencing problems with wifi.
In all kasty roms wifi didn't work, always disconnecting, loosing power, not holding the connection and 99% of the times had to turn it off and then on again.
I solved all these problems with Riley 1.9 test 2 rom, however the kasty one was way more fluid and performing.
Riley, can you make your next rom optimizing smoothness and performance to make it more fluid as in kasty's one? then it would be perfect.. asked the opposite to kasty, to solve the wifi problems, then one of the two will be the definitive best rom

But If the freeze screen is a kernel problem why some of the people have this issue and some not?(all the m9 pro don't have the same kernel?)
do you think pipo company know about it or should I try to write them a mail?
thanks

3G problems with Juice Defender and Llama
I've another smaller problem: 3G is working as it should: I can toggle ModemPower or only DataTransfer (regardless of wifi settings) and when turned on transfer works instantly.
BUT some 3rd party tools (which I actually need) seem to have problems:
With Llama (great tool to control your device settings depending on your geographic location – without GPS) I can teach in cells but a cellswitch is never detected (on my S3 Llama is working without any problems). Testes all debug setting with no luck or clue. Contacted the developer but no answer so far.
And for JuiceDefender, 3G controlling can't be switched on. It is a as if as far as JuiceDefinder is concerned my tablet doesn't have 3G
But not all 3rd party tool have problems with 3G access: “Power Toggles” switches the 3G-states without any problems. So I assume there is only missing a little part…
