Still regarding the random MAC on each boot I have done some searching and found this:

Since J1nx's forum/blog has had so many issues lately I'll post here the text in his message:

There are indeed a couple of versions out there that do not have the MAC address defined within their uBoot configuration (Bluetimes M3 as well). If uboot does not pass on the hardware’s MAC address, linux will generate a random one. This is the reason why some hardware have a new MAC at every boot.I will look into adding a script that saves the random MAC to file and uses it. The logic will then become like;
- Uses the MAC from uboot, if not passed
- Use the one from the config file, if not there (yet)

- Create a random one and save it to the config file for the next boot’s

does anyone what the build date this ROM is for? as when i try to use it,all i get is the green guy lying on his back(with the triangle)the build date on my Prometheus is 28/5/13. which is 4.2.2 (the one with the Bluetooth not working)or better still,anyone know any ROM`s that will work with this device? thanks.(i did re download the ROM to see if that helped,but no joy)

Anyone one else experiencing a new "random" MAC address everytime the TV Box boots up?
I don't know if Bob still checks this topic but if he does, Bob, I was trying to run "setvenv ethaddr 00:11:22:33:44:55" on the bash of my prometheus but it says that setenv is not recognized.
Can you help me with this, please?

Simply add "ubootenv.var.macaddr=AA:BB:CC:AA:BB:CC" to a new line in /system/build.prop, using rootexplorer or terminal.

Reporting bugs

I report some bugs of this release:
1. If you set a custom resolution it won't be remembered the next time you restart, the system resets it to "automatically choose the best for TV".
2. The aplication to resize the output doesn't work. It crashes everytime a change is made.

Still I'm gonna use Finless rom because, even if the stock ROM lacks those described bugs, it has other annoying bugs. Hope Finless fixes these bugs.

Did anybody used this SW with old TV with the AVI cable, I had problem when I used the manufacture SW, the screen was off and the when I opened an app the screen went upside down, and what would be the best setting to fit the screen.

OK, I was able to flash it with no issues, however, I have 2 problems:
1. The screen re-size doesn`t work, when I press any arrow it takes me to the home page.
2. I added Arabic Language to the keyboard, but it gives me Chinese instead.

Any help will be appreciated,

try this ROM today un my prometheus but ethernet connection don't run...only wfi sucks...
