The Vendor said its 100Mbit, but...

    On the chip it says:
    RTL 8211F
    1310CH1
    G1.11

which should be a Gigabit chip ??

When I make a Internet Speedtest I get more than 100Mbit upload speed.

    I just got this one:
    HK1 X3 Android 9.0 4+64GB TV Box Amlogic S905X3 2.4G+5G WiFi 4K Set Top

as seen here (scroll down on site): https://www.****.de/itm/115333681292?var=415383532172

It is the same Box like soldiaz

However, I have 4/64 GB and 100MB Ethernet.

I guess I am going for an ATV ROM, since I am coming from a Fire-TV Stick and am used to it. I basically only use Kodi to watch TV and stream Videos from my Network-Harddisk.

So I guess I have no need for "Open Source" for now.

Here is the ATV version 0.4.2 from AOSP version : https://mega.nz/file/R4EUxBiY#jS1fbg...X2lZJWwI7jnUBg

**Note1: This must be suitable for all TVboxes of this "family" with Gigabit Lan. It is not suitable for HK1 Box with 100MB Lan !! It is not suitable also for H96 max X3 with Blue Board and wifi module IT6334 (everything will be fine except wifi).
**Note2: Since you have 1.000MB Lan there should not be any problem with this rom (probably you will not get a brick), but you may have problem with wifi (if you have a wifi module similar to IT6334)
**Note3: Your TVBox must be a "copy" of my H96 max X3 where I use 0.4.2 AOSP, but my board is Green (wifi problems are with some of H96 with Blue Board).
Whatever you do, you are doing it at your own risk. Good Luck.

Just grabbed an HK1 x3 3/32GB, BT4, Gigabit unit (round body) and I am really interested in an ATV rom

I can make you an ATV from a "clean" port of ugoos 0.4.2 (from AOSP to ATV). Tell me if you are interested. Your TVbox must be compatible with Vontar X3, HK1 Box (Gigabit), H96 max X3.

Thanks for the info. My WIFI connection works great on Fire_TV Stick and Google Chromecast, so I will not have problems with WIFI, thats why I wrote, that I am not going to use Ethernet.

I was not sure, whether the 100MB-LAN-Version can run with the custom firmware.

Which firmware should I install, and where can I download it. Or where do I find instructions on how to do it for the 100MB Box?

Is it this one from this post?

I have this TVbox in the 1.000 MB Lan Version. I use it though with wifi and it gives me the full Internet bandwidth I have, that is 100Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. The HK1 Box is 5 meters away from the router, but there is no wall in between.
So it is up to you what to buy.
****Just at a side note (using another firmware) I have found a way to have temperature indication at the front screen of this TVbox. I also have other options at what, how and how long is displayed at the front screeen.

It has only 100MB Ethernet, which I do not mind, because I am using Wireless Lan anyway.

Besides that, it has an Amlogic S905X3 4+32GB 2.4G+5G WiFi, which for that price seems awesome.

I want to run Kodi on that BOX and play HD (1080 - H.264) and HVEC (H.265) Movies from a server on my Local Lan.
I already have a FireTV Stick, which basically does the Job, but does not play HVEC (H.265) and of course bitches after every update.

    Questions:
Does the abouve mentioned TV-Box do that out ouf the Box?
I read on this forum, that I have to install a special "100MB Ethernet" Firmware, which I found a link to at this forum. Does that work?

I already tried a different TV-Box with an Allwinner CPU, which had a really poor performance but the Amlogic S905X3 seems to have a much better performance, according to some Benchmarks on the internet.

Anyway, should I go for that box or spend more on something with Giga-Lan (which I do not need).
