Hi, first of all I would like to thank ath156 for the excellent work he has done with this firmware. Before installing it on my HK1 Box (see picture below), I would like to confirm if I can actually do it, as I have read that my box has 100Mbps Ethernet (and not 1000Mbps like the others) and this may be a problem. Besides the fact that it is called "HK1 Box" and not "HK1 X3 Box".

Again, thank you very much for everything.

Sorry but this version is not compatible with TVboxes that have 100Mbps Ethernet, instead of 1000Mbs that all the other TVboxes of this "family" have
So better do not try to install it !!

Does this rom remove the Boot from SD card option? Newer base roms stop the box booting things like EmuElec from SD card... I need a good rom for HK1 X3 WITH SDcard support

As I already answered you in XDA, using this rom you easily boot from sd card Coreelec, Emuelec, Armbian etc. No problem at all.

I can assure you these are not 100mbps.
I go through about 25-30 of these a week. they are 1gb ethernet.
this firmware works fine on them.

Until recently the HK1 Box was solely with 1gb LAN, as are all the TVboxes of the same "family" (i.e. H96 max X3, Vontar X3, Bqeel Y8 max, Transpeed X3 Air etc).
Unfortunately lately there are some versions of it with only 100MB Lan !!!!!!
If you are the unlucky owner of such a HK1 Box with 100MB Lan, better do not try this rom.................

**** Edit : In case you actually own an HK1 Box with 100MB Lan and you have a problem after trying to use an uncompatible custom rom, here is the stock firmware for this HK1 Box:

                    Hi there,
I found this website, because I am looking at this TV-Box, because it is only about 20USD:

It has only 100MB Ethernet, which I do not mind, because I am using Wireless Lan anyway.

Besides that, it has an Amlogic S905X3 4+32GB 2.4G+5G WiFi, which for that price seems awesome.

I want to run Kodi on that BOX and play HD (1080 - H.264) and HVEC (H.265) Movies from a server on my Local Lan.
I already have a FireTV Stick, which basically does the Job, but does not play HVEC (H.265) and of course bitches after every update.

                    Questions:
Does the abouve mentioned TV-Box do that out ouf the Box?
I read on this forum, that I have to install a special "100MB Ethernet" Firmware, which I found a link to at this forum. Does that work?

I already tried a different TV-Box with an Allwinner CPU, which had a really poor performance but the Amlogic S905X3 seems to have a much better performance, according to some Benchmarks on the internet.

Anyway, should I go for that box or spend more on something with Giga-Lan (which I do not need).

I have this TVbox in the 1.000 MB Lan Version. I use it though with wifi and it gives me the full Internet bandwidth I have, that is 100Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. The HK1 Box is 5 meters away from the router, but there is no wall in between.
So it is up to you what to buy.
****Just at a side note (using another firmware) I have found a way to have temperature indication at the front screen of this TVbox. I also have other options at what, how and how long is displayed at the front screeen.

Thanks for the info. My WIFI connection works great on Fire_TV Stick and Google Chromecast, so I will not have problems with WIFI, thats why I wrote, that I am not going to use Ethernet.

I was not sure, whether the 100MB-LAN-Version can run with the custom firmware.

Which firmware should I install, and where can I download it. Or where do I find instructions on how to do it for the 100MB Box?

Is it this one from this post?

This is the stock firmware. If you buy this TVbox just say it and I will give you some more links. Also state if you prefer AOSP or ATV.

I can make you an ATV from a "clean" port of ugoos 0.4.2 (from AOSP to ATV). Tell me if you are interested. Your TVbox must be compatible with Vontar X3, HK1 Box (Gigabit), H96 max X3.
