does anybody have any issues with 1.9 ROM + v4.0 kernel?
the resulotion changes automatically to HD hence the normal is ticked, it is also very very laggy and slow, nearly unusable...

I have just changed to HD display mode and it went back to normal mode...
    strange

No dramas for me for that exact combo.

It will be the exact same process as for downloading one of these RileyROMs. Randy should hopefully be able to help with a download link.

Here is the link to the latest official firmware form Pipo:

You can use the RKBatchTool to flash this firmware. It is located in the RileyROM kit in the folder called "alternate_reboot_to_flash_tool"

If you have successfully flashed one of my ROM's, your drivers will also work with the RKBatchTool.

If your PC recognizes your tablet (pink box), click "switch"...and "restore". The stock firmware will flash.

This ROM appears to be for the Pro rather than the Max?

              Nope... It's for the Max.

The wifi power must have been turned down. When I get a chance, I'll check it.

                are you sure?

                riley are you sure?

because the link you sent it says PiPO M6pro_software_OTA_20131204

and in the title say: M6pro!

                    ok thanks, riley
i have to send to warranty because, the touch screen started to work alone, it seems like a ghost hand, and there are zones of the touch that doesn't work smooth. i have to touch several times to work.

It's not connected to the charger while this happens is it? My touchscreen behaves erratically when connected to the charger. (I believe it is noisy power output from it, as it doesn't happen when connected to the charger from my Aoson.)

On another note, I've just tried a few of the newer overclocked/stock kernels with my (if I remember correctly) stock rom from August, and while they boot fine, the wifi won't turn on. (Tested builds #109 and #112). #81 is the highest that seems to work properly. Also Balrogs vRR1.9_v4.1_800Mhz caused the tab to lock with corrupted screen whenever I tried to turn on USB storage mode.

I've gone back to Balrogs kernel_cpu1704_gpu660_ddr720_v4.img based on build #81 and all seems to working fine. One of these days I might update my ROM, but can't be bothered at the moment

Here's the link to that firmware:

I'm afraid that you can't install it with CWM. It has to be installed with the RKBatchTool.
