Usually that happens when you flash this ROM on an M6 Pro. Make sure you have the correct ROM.

boot loader stuck

I am able to boot into android recovery and update from a zip file on external media if that would help. Is there a 1.9 version of the ROM available in the required .zip format that I could update from the defunct 1.8a version using the android recovery ? I tried the .zip with tools and all in desperation, but it failed (for obvious reasons no doubt wrong .zip content format)
Appreciate any help, my tablet has been so far useless to me since I bought it 3 months ago!

I am right in saying it's the rk3188 drivers needed right ? I downloaded from a rock site in the netherlands also to see if I could install them, but I can't get the usb to be recognised on insertion now. I checked 2 other usb keys to ensure the advanced setting had reverted when I reconfigured and they had (i.e. their drivers installed)
If I disable the windows drive auto install, when is it meant to prompt for drivers ? Seems it's just nt spotting the usb inserted any more. What state is best for the tablet to be in - android recovery menu, or green android character with red exclamation ?
I just can't seem to load the drivers on any of the windows devices I have (from friends) - I'm amazed there is no OSX flash tools given OSX popularity with devs now.
Also I am not using the normal pipo usb cable I believe, should normal micro usb cable be ok and is there a way to flash using a .zip from external media?

Yesterday I was getting the exclamation and I tried multiple versions of the drivers from 1.9 etc. (windows 7 in this case), but it kept saying there was no driver available to install. I removed the auto updates in the advanced installation section of the Hardware configurations on windows also and tried again. This time no asterix and no request to install a driver. Since then I have toggled that setting a few times and tried installing drivers from the "Add Legacy" option, but keep getting "error code 10" or sometimes an error like error 48 (can't recall exact).

It's strange that is not based on kitkat...
They updated older tablet on kitkat and not this one.
This is not a good news!if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Right now I'm not sure we really want KitKat. There are some differences that are causing problems. Tomorrow I will make a new ROM with this new firmware. I have to work today.

There isn't a change log...just the download link. I may be able to tell when I get into the ROM to find out any significant changes.
I hope to have a new ROM ready sometime today...so stay tuned!!!!!!Randy
