Pipo M6 Pro RileyROM 1.5

This ROM is based on an official Pipo firmware release dated 12/5/2013.

All of the essential changes I made in 1.4.2 carried over into this ROM:

Updated Google Apps
Auto Install Apps from External SD (see this thread for details)

As usual this ROM is:

Rooted
Debloated
Init.d Support
Busybox Support
English Default
Working CWM Recovery
2, 4, 6, 8, or 12gb user app space by changing parameter files
Boot Animation by Tattman65
Reboot app by Petrus
Updated First Time User's Guide (Please read this guide before attempting to install the first time)
Rockchip driver installer app is now included in the kit

This version is the same as v1.5, except without the Google Apps update, which may have caused problems with Text-To-Speech, and some lockups.

If you really need it just put this line at the bottom of the build.prop:

fw.max_users=4

I just added it to the ROM and I'm uploading again. You may notice the link being broken for a little while. When it's back up, it will be fixed.

I am a dedicated follower of Fashion (=Riley!)

Just installed Riley 1.5, this install went OK with no problems.
I really have to buy Titanium now , restoring all the app's manually is getting boring.

I assume the working DeepSleep lib is in there as well?

you can find titanium backup full in other ways...
but I suggest you to buy that app!

The full version can do a complete restore without tap "accept" for every single app! It's a big improvemet in my opinion.

I'm using RileyROM 1.4.2 I'm going to jump this version and wait for the next one (hopefully the first KitKat!!!), because I think the differences between 1.4.2 and 1.5 are invisible or barely visible!

gmail not sending messages?

Hi all,

I just installed the 1.5 rom, and although everything looks ok, I did encounter something weird:

It seems that gmail is not sending messages.

I will check everything again, but meanwhile, can somebody check and confirm my finding?

Update: problem solved!!

I think it happened when I restored my backup, including the gmail app.
While restoring, I had gmail all ready configured, including the widget.
It was receiving mail, but not sending.

I stopped gmail and removed the app-data and cleared the cache.

After restarting it is working again.

Just updated from 1.3 to this on my Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 2 and it's working great. Some nice new features.
