Any tweak on the CPU or GPU will cause freezes.
I was able to push my M6Pro to a memory clock of 760Mz, and it appears to run stable. (for now)

Here is the kernel I run at the moment, it gave me an AnTuTu score of 19100.
I don't have any info on battery usage yet.

Please some feedback when using this one.

    Un saludo.
Have u tweaked the voltage on cpu, gpu, ram or are they default?

    Cheers

It happened to me twice since I run 1.5, but I was playing around with lots of apps, both installing and removing, so it may not be relevant.

If it happens again, I will let you know.

I used the default parameters I found in the script, where I removed the 1704MHz CPU line.
I only changed the RAM frequency, no changes in voltages by me.
For your info, the script I used is attached with this message.

          No found RkAndroid rock usb

I have big problems flashing My Pipo m6 Pro. I followed literally yur instructions, but even if I disactivated automatic driver download and installing the drivers in Riley Kit, When I connected for the first time my Pipo Windows 8.1 installed two "rockchip_usb USB device " and if I remove them they reappear again so Finless Rom Flash Tool always says "No found RkAndroid rock usb" I flashed other tablet in the past and this is the first time I have this problem. Can PLEASE someone help me? I have Windows 8.1 64 bit. THANK YOU in advance, a non rooted tablet is quite useless to me...

Hi, they are warning to not use w8. I have tried it yesterday with same result on desktop, although with w7 on another device everything passed smoothly. Change windows and it wil be OK.

Always find xp best for flashing most things. I swear by xp even today.

Still having SoD (or so I think). I had to remove the 1.5 and installed the latest stock ROM. All working fine and all day without having to wake up the pad with reset button. Any clue on what is causing it. I like Randy's 1.5, but it doesn't like my tablet. Just in case -> Pipo M6Pro 3g 32gb w 32gb mSD. Newbie, but tech enough to get in enough trouble.

                    Longterm test:
My battery lasts 5days with screen of in deep sleep (only a few times I turned it on).

760MHz maybe a bit too much?

                        Hi all,

I had one (1) freeze while playing a Youtube movie, and I want to have a stable Pipo, so I tuned the memory down just a bit.

Here is my 750MHz RAM kernel and script, based on the 1.5 RileyRom.

                        Un saludo.

                          APPS CRASHING...

OK, so I ate the data loss as described previously (had a 1-legged duck moment), but now I have another issue specific to RR v.1.5, several things all of a sudden started misbehaving with the install of RR v.1.5 and reinstall of apps.

I was in an bad accident several months ago, and my first tablet / Android device, and learning it was my recovery project after a surgery, and right when I was ready to depend on my tablet during travel it has put me in a bad situation.

It keeps giving an error Google Text to speech Engine has crashed, and also, 2 apps I need immediately became unusable, saying they are not responding, they are in the app store, HotPads and PadMapper.
I expect other things wil crash also, but this is just preliminary finding and reproduceable.

Both worked perfectly fine in v.1.3a, and if I cannot get them working, I will be forced to regress to v.1.3a.

ALSO, it occurred to me after getting these errors, possibly the issue with not being able to change the backup directory in Titanium Backup in the preferences may be related to the above mentioned error.
It refuses to let me specify any other directory for backup than what it decides, is that right?

Can anyone else verify HotPads and PadMapper (App called Trulia For Rent also does not work) do not work in their install of RR v.1.5? They use location services I think, and it may be related to that I am thinking.

I really need those 2 apps working ASAP, as my intent is to be on the road by end of week, and my desktop system goes down in a couple of days

Randy or someone whom knows, what is the most stable RR release?
I know v.1.3a seemed to work fine for me, and gosh should I have known better than to migrate when I did knowing I had a stable system.

I'll soon be unable to flash my tablet for an unknown period of time...

                          TIA...

I'm using 1.4.2. This is the most stable to me.

It is also the most similar to 1.5 in terms of performances and functionalities.
For these reasons I'm going to jump 1.5 and wait next release.

You can change directory for Titanium backup moving defalut backupped data on another folder then let TB seach for a backup. It will use your new folder as TB default backup location.

Google Text to speech Engine has crashed, on my tablet it happened too (RR 1.5).

I flashed RR 1.5 three days ago and everything is working so far including TTS. I use stock kernel.
