        CalendarSync

I did have a problem with my calendar syncing. I had a signed calendar sync apk which I installed and it works fine now. Was probably my error, but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else had the same problem.

Having a problem with adb not recognizing my tablet in usb debug mode. Gotta check into that, I but I had to leave for a while so I will look into it later.

This is working on my 701C running Shawn's ICS rom image for the 701C.

So far it looks like everything works...except there is a weird little glitch whenever I go to download something from the Play store.

You know the message you get about the permissions the app requires just before you start the download? The one with the blue "accept and download" button? That popup/screen for me glitches. Whenever I find an app/game and tap download that screen will flash and then disappera. It will show that message quickly and then it looks like it disappears/minimizes. You can generally make it reappear by tapping the area where it should be and then you can quickly find and tap the "accept and download" button before it disappears again. I have no idea why it's doing it. It could be a combination of the fact that I'm running the ICS script for the 701C and THEN i tried this market fix. I'm not sure.

It's still very usable and other than that it looks like it works just fine. I can definitely find apps that were missing before.

Thanks for giving it a shot. I'll look into it and see what I can do to help as I have not seen it happen.

But I will do what I can!!

                Enjoy

I just ran this and am stuck in a bootlopp :-( I have a stock 701-c.... Can't get livesuite to work, although adb works fine... Livesuite keeps saying device not found.... Im on 64 bit win7, so the drivers included with livesuite wont work... I used superoneclick to force a driver on, and ive had another 701-c that ive connected and tinkered with a bit... It's recognized as an adb interface device when plugged in in flash mode... any ideas?

If there are no 64bit drivers for livesuite then try installing VirtualBox and run Windows XP or win732 in a VM. VirtualBox allows you to attach USB devices and use 32bit drivers in the VM.

Just an idea and I use this myself when 64 bit drivers wont work.

FYI, don't use Windows VM (WindowsXP mode) as that VM is not as robust at handling unknown USB devices.

Thanks. Interesting that it changes screen size to 800 x 444 (not 480) and the device is now a samsung phone along with other cpu changes - seems OK but I am not an expert at this stuff.

Now google market/play works a bit better - new Play icon.

Antutu is also about 100 pts higher at over 3235 after taking a hit from the slower 32g class 4 sdcard now being used instead of internal memory (changed vold.fstab file).

Still certain files not accessible with this P6210 like google soundback although talkback installs. Google sound/speak feature for search is neat. Also microphone pickup seems clearer.

I bet this might explain some of the weirdness in the Google Play app: polling the hardware values returns 800x480 but the config files makes the software think it's 800x444. I'm also seeing this problem drawing frames in the Youtube app (everything outside the video frame). Once you tap on the blank spaces, it redraws correctly.

Did you enable USB debugging mode on the Tablet?
