I guess you have reset button on B4K? You can use it instead. Try connecting both USB ports while the reset button is pressed. See if Phoenix recognizes it.

I have moved furniture around the house to get this thing connected to pc and tv together.
The pc, doesn't recognize this at any point.
Pressing reset doesn't help.
I have windows 8.1, i assume that's why drivers fail to install.
The guide said to upgrade system need to put img file to tf card and reboot, but it's not working either.
CAn you perhaps figure out how to press enter key in recovery mode?

Try using its original ir remote. You won't be able to flash without drivers installed. Look for win7 pc.

in recovery mode i can go up and down with my wireless keyboard.
but enter button doesnt work.
With original remote only the shut down button work.

i ran out of ideas.

No luck.
I used 3 different keyboards.
The only keys that work are
Up&down, home, Ctrl+alt+del.
I still can't press enter in recovery menu.
User guide said to put IMG file on tf card.
I only have micro SD card. Is it the same?

Did anyone in the world managed to actually upgrade this device?

I remember I used a cheap IR remote once in recovery to push enter. Try on your rc to inactivate cursor as someone suggested.

I used the default remote. Tried to inactivate cursor.
Nothin helps. This remote can only shut down the device.
Not even up & down works.
