I have experienced the same with my 3 units, upload speeds about 6Mbps and downloads of about 0.2Mbps.

This would appear to be a software or driver issue because WiFi Analyser reports excellent signal strength and the occasional speed test reports higher transfer rates.

For wifi problems get wifi fixer apk from the playstore.
Then settings - advanced settings - enable "disable sleep wake lock"

I agree, this fix does not work.

            No problems with Ethernet.

Personally, I have hardwired these boxes via Ethernet, for reliable 720P / 1080P streaming.

SD streaming of terrestrial TV from MythTV server works perfectly via XBMC.

i will try to help with this wifi issues but i cant reproduce it.
for now try to all with wifi issues can you set your routers to just b/g and see if that helps.
Everything is possible if we work together!

for me it helped to set bandwith of router from 54 to 12mbs, mode only g, turbo off.
                  Now everything works perfect...

i tryed wifi modes -only b, b\g, b\g\n , only n, with security and open network - same results 1mbps down speed - but one time speed was 25 mbps, but only one time....
When i change bandwith on my router(tp-link 841n) to slower rate - like 36 or 42 - it not takes effect, i think its router issue.
I think wifi driver cannot downrate connection speed accord to signal noise ratio - it always connect on max speed 150 or 75 on n mode or 54 on g mode .Maybe if it will can dowrate speed to 36 or 42 mbps, all will be fine....
PS. Sorry for my bad english

wifi fixer must run. It does not autostart. So you have to start it after every restart.if it run turn wifi off and then on again. Be aware with taskkillers. The service lock the connection.

This does not work, tested on 3 boxes on 5 different wifi networks.

Have you tried changing the WiFi channel from auto to a set channel? This fixed my WiFi issues.

Did you try only g with 12Mbs? Its very important! i tried with 10 or 24,11, 18Mbit also but only with 12Mbs everything works fine and theres fast Wifi, also i had to turn the Turbo mode off.

Sounds like the driver is unable to negotiate a slower speed, to achieve the most reliable transfer rate at the fastest speed, based on the signal strength from the WiFi router.

As suggested above, it appears manually slowing down the maximum download speed of the WiFi temporarily overcomes the speed negotiation issue until a new driver is released.

Lewy is there any to configure 5.1 channels in spdif out? Can you help with this problem . I've heard wasser fix it in in his rom 1.2.3 but I don't know that rom works on v2.0. I hope you can't help me with this. I'll wait for your answer ASAP. Thank
