Just need to be able to change the pesky boot logo, I have a pre-made one at standard size. Would be great if they were all just s905 or so on but some have models, example q-box has a q for the boot logo so when your using it for the M8s-II which is the same board but different box it would be nice to change it.
also more freedom in the work folder would be cool but I'm not trying to be pushy, your work is top notch bro!!!!
Im working very hard to get the logo unpack/repacking done, im having issues finding the original res_pack.exe file, i found it the other day but lost it, now i cant remember where i found it

Not sure if this will help:

BTW, can I get a your test version of v5.0, which had fixes for Android v5.x to 8.x?

        Cheers,

When unpacking the firmware of a R-TV-BOX Pro something in the kernel seems to fail and all the ramdrives are empty.

This ROM seems to use qca9377 wifi drivers, this means it seems compatible with the H96pro plus hardware.

NOTE: For anyone having issues with V5.0.0 when i release it, if your firmware doesnt unpack further than level 1, you have an encrypted firmware and further unpacking cannot be done.

Encrypted firmwares cannot and will not be supported by the tool, but its safe to say V5.0.0 will work bugfree, and if it doesnt, we have logs to fix the issue, but me and my testers have gone through 12 betas of V5.0.0 from windows 7-windows 10

                  Current issue list
                  -Doesnt support encrypted firmwares
-Windows 7 doesnt support unpacking/repacking update zips, while windows 8-10 works fine(cygwin binary issues that are out of my reach)
-Logo repacking is still not done, further study on how the checksum for the img is generated is needed and most online info is obsolete. i did have amlogics respack.exe(respack.dll before it was turned into a lib) but i misplaced it and cannot relocate it

But for anyone interested in the current changelog of V5.0.0 you can find it here -

V5.08 for some reason does not run at all. Seems like a problem with AmlUnpacker2.dll, because if I put the old version then it runs.

5.0.9 has been released and the issue has been resolved

5.0 runs fine... did a test yesterday, no issues that I found, but I did not bother to repack. I just unpacked, edited out unneeded apps and saved system for hot transfer to live system. For me it is easier than OTA. Just pull from my shared storage once saved from extraction.
