Nice rom...good job on not only making it more functional but for attempting to think out of the box

That said, it reboots every few minutes...thought it might be a kernel attack...switch to Strauzo kernel..same thing happens...maybe something in the rom??

Hello lewy20041, I tested your ROM with "Tronsmart T428" :


1) I just compile your ROM "(HFW) 1.1.0 by lewy20041", with"RK29xxImageTools_v2.1"

2) I just copy the file "system.img", your ROM "(HFW) 1.1.0 by lewy20041",

and I copy the file "system.img", in the ROM "Tronsmart t428 Android 4.2.2 - Finless 1.5 ROM ( 01-06-2013 )".

3) format nand and install.

Starting the Tronsmart T428, in 5 second, WOW

WIFI --> works, but unstable

bluetooth --> OK

LAN ( RJ45 ) --> OK

VIDEO, in sdcard ( MX PRO, décodeur H/W ) score --> 10/10

VIDEO/AUDIO streaming (synchro) amo navi-x, ect ... --> 9/10


1 hour of use, the Tronsmart T428, is not hot( normal)

Sorry I can not provide you "logcat", I do not know what is!, I'm not developers.

I just tested, your ROM :

with kernel_t428_phja_20130729_vsyncfix (phjanderson) : same problem, Reboot all 5 minutes

With Strauzo kernel : same problem, Reboot all 5 minutes


I'll wait until you solve, the problem, I hope you will find the solution.

and ROM stock K-R42

Still the same problem, Reboot all 5 minutes and wifi unstable.

I will create a Thread, to see if there in no other developer, that could help the solution.

OK lewy20041, test the ROM MK908_HFW_1.1.1 in Tronsmart T428 :


WIFI = OK

bluetooth = OK ( headphones audio)

LAN = OK

( not need kernel for video in the ROM )

Video SDcard INT/EXT = OK in 1080p ( player natif, mx pro in HW ) 10/10

video streaming youtube, navi-x = OK in 1080p 9/10

for me, 720p is more than enough, 1080p is just to test.

After 50 minutes of use the Tronsmart T428 :


no reboot, until now,... no break wifi

is not hot ( normal), almost cold. ---> need fan ( the ROM which heats the least, currently )

Now, this is the best ROM for the tronsmart T428.
