Thank for your reply, i need to "hide" the hdmi connection to skygo app, because this app not allow connection to external device, the state file is 1 or 0, by by changing this value we can allow app that block hdmi external use. This change also can be done trough "Hdmi Virtual Switch" but obviously that does not work, as i can't make the change manually...

On my tablet, I was able to use Xplore file manager to go in and edit that file. You just need to change permissions to root access in your file manager.

It depends on file manager application, I'm using File Manager HD or ES Explorer. Both are looking different from your screenshots. Try to search in settings. You'll need enable root and then remount /system as rw.

Re: Pipo M7 Pro RileyROM 2.5 KitKat

Oh yes I did it in all app I've tried:
                    ES file explorer 3

                    Is it OK?
I open the file as text with ES note editor, 3point menu -> edit -> write new value -> back, when it ask me if I want to save changes, I say YES but it return at previous value.

Root Browser, I don't see option in preferences to enable root, I open file with RB text editor, but see the following

In X-plore configuration I selected Superuser + mount writable

When I open file with X-plore text viewer it remain in "opening" and I see not even the file content (0)

Instead when I select "edit text" it open file with own X-plore text editor, I change value and when tap on Save I got this error

                    What else can I try?

tabglo, You have to mount system writeable. Don't remeber exactly where it is. Am playing with flashing different ROMs right now and can't check. You should look in settings for ES Explorer, 4th button in bottom row.

On ES File Explorer...on the screen with the first screen shot, tap the Root Explorer title 3 times. It will launch a SuperSU window to give SU permission...accept it. Then, press and hold the Root Explorer title again and select Mount R/W. You will get a window listing your drives...tick / and /system RW and OK.

Then, you should have access to change the files you need.

In the future, just press and hold that Root Explorer title and select Mount R/W...you will get that window again to change the mount permissions.

                          got r/w system but...

Thanks Riley, finally enabled RW on every 3 path (/ - /system - /mnt/external_sd), but when I change the state file value, I don't see anymore error, but the file remain the same... Damn no way to solve

                            oops..
Have not noticed path /sys/devices/... This stuff most likely belongs to kernel and there is no other way to modify it except compile new kernel. Or, with lot of luck it might be found and modified with hex editor similar to the way overclocking is done.

Really? On a MINIX x7 TV box I've been able to modify the file (rooted ROM quickshot)...
Hope someone can help me, i will install a kitkat rom when a stable version will come. Thanks

I'm running my 2.6 ROM. It is very stable. In fact, 2.5 wasn't too shabby.
