Kary75, maybe you can try this method without opening your tablet
I bricked mytablet (Pipi M6 pro 3g model) trying to flash kasty 4.2.2 jelly bean ROM in the tablet previously flashed with kasty 4.4.2 KitKat ROM. The result of this is well known: Tablet bricked.
Before opening the tablet, i decided to try keeshg method to unbrick and flash kasty 4.2.2 jelly bean ROM.
I did no release power button until the complete process finished, but the process was sucessful. My tablet is alive again.
Thank you so much keeshg

The tablet was absolutely dead. No reaction on whatever reset or buttoncombination. Window7 could it not find anymore. Only when pressing and holding powerbutton I heard the windowssound of connection and I saw the tablet in windows, but it disappeared when the powerbutton was released. So there was a little sign of live left.
With RKBatchtool 1.7 I could repair in an new manner I found without opening the tablet Pipo M6pro:
1 I connect tablet over usb.
2 I load the right rom-img file in RKBatchtool.
3 Hold the power button.
4 While holding press restore button in Batchtool.
5 Keep power pressed untill first part of flashing is done (button is green by now)
6 at first I released the power to soon and the contact over usb stopped, so did flashing and I had to start over.
7 Flashing completed and pipo rebooted again to normal. Succes.
I could repeat it. Perhaps the same procedure works for other tablets. I am curious.

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

I compared with the original one and I get the same MD5sum
Randy, it would be better to split the discussion from the post #124 to avoid confusion for people running KitKat beta and who would try the new Jelly Bean Firmware. There is always some problem to go back with this version. This problem doesn't appear with your ROM if users thick the loader.

Is this new release still KK or JB? Can someone confirm. I'm at work and don't have my PC running yet.

OK...so my next question is...do I invest time and effort on a new JB ROM? Or, stick with KitKat development?
