There is a new RK Flash Tool available which does backups. I'm thinking about including it in my ROM kits.
With this new tool, you can perform backups.
However...I would not use a NAND backup to go back and forth between Jellybean and KitKat right now until we confirm there aren't any problems. (If you want to test this theory I have about compatibility issues...do so at your own risk....and share your results).

I rolled back to dalvik and the tab is still fast, wifi is ok and i haven't already suffered reboots...I think i'll keep this configuration (my wife is using the tab and she's now finally ok).
I really like kitkat, so I also flashed my galaxy tab 10.1 with Omnirom and i can see a lot of improvements, even if Pipo is another planet, a faster user experience and a more brilliant screen!

Is there something in settings i need to configure to make the boot faster?
Anyway, great rom, even if GPS is not working (but i don't use it on the tab)!
Refer to this article to see the diffence between ART and Dalvik. At the end of the article it explains that ''ART uses AOT compilation, which prolongs the install times of applications because the Dalvik bytecode gets compiled to machine code. Therefore, each time I deploy a new version of the app on my device, I have to wait for this additional time to pass so that the app optimizes for the ART runtime. This causes a significant delay in the deployment process.Install times on my Nexus 4, for one of our larger projects, jumped from ~17 s to ~25 s.''

thank you in advance fazerg.. i have just flashed this kit kat rom. first test was to run speedtests from speedtest.net. even though wifi signal is the same the download speed seems a bit less. i have an 8Mbps connection and i used to get 8.3 Mbps with rileyrom 2.4. Now i receive 7.2 maximum. I have confirmed this with my laptop which still receives 8.3 and double confirmed with numerous download servers.. Can anyone else confirm?

stelios, I don't know what you mean low and low +25. I do change scripts myself the way I like. At the moment I'm using voltages reduced by 25 or 50 mV depending on frequency and making frequency/voltage table more or less linear. That's it. My M7 is very stable with these settings.
So here you are, just one kernel matching your request. This is Riley ROM kernel
This table used:
"cpu1608h" =>
[
[900000, 312000],
[925000, 504000],
[975000, 816000],
[1050000, 1008000],
[1100000, 1200000],
[1200000, 1416000],
[1250000, 1608000],Attached Files

see post #18 on this thread.. the person that did these kernels for rr2.4 reduced voltage by 100mv on each frequency.. +25mv was voltage reduced by 75.. i have used +25mv which is basically -75mv than stock voltages with no problems on my pipo m7.
can we handle even lower voltages? is this kernel reduced by -25mv or -50mv?
