RKM Remote program does not see my device. How to fix?

It probably isn't broke... I suspect you didn't install the standard rockchip apps that are a seperate download/install listed in the first posts of the thread.

I don't use it, I prefer a real kb/mouse instead... you may want to actually read the thread, I believe it's been mentioned.... or just try it... probably quicker than asking even

I'm pretty sure that it's hardware dependent. It has to be built into your phone or tablet. It's possible that someday, someone will figure out another way to mirror, but I wouldn't count on it.

Hi!

I installed this rom a couple of days ago, and it's working great, except one big issue. The device keeps shutting of randomly - sometimes just after a couple of minutes, other times after 10. I've read this thread, but the the only thing i found seems to be related to XBMC.

When it shuts off, it tries to boot again, but won't. I have to unplug the power in order for it to work again.

Any ideas? Could it help to reflash something, maybe just the kernel?

I'll quote the recommended setting found in the third post...

-development options, we recommend that you activate Stay awake option, this makes the HDMI output not turning off when we take a while without using the device, the device remains on without entering the suspension mode.

Another common area... power supply. Most of the PS's included aren't up to the job... get a better one that provides more amperage output.

The reset button is in the hole next to the micro-usb port

It's unlikely that they didn't put a switch on it... so you need to try some more in case you are doing it wrong and/or contact the reseller you got it through if there really is a problem...

In any case, it isn't an issue related to any ROM

I found the file 'kernel_leolas_qx1_1080p_cpu1608h_ddr720.img_quick flasher.zip' - the nearest suggested. I'll try with it.

How to Unroot Quickshot V2 ROM

Are there a way to remove root on Quickshot V2 ROM? I use a Video streaming service that does not run on rooted devices so I would like to unroot. I really like this ROM so I would preferr not to revet back to the stock ROM.

So, If someone could post how to unroot the ROM it would be much appreciated. If not, does anyone have a recomendation on an unrooted ROM for the QX1?
