I am running 9mm, Tintin, Captain America, Assassin's Creed.... Been a process of elimination. Thank God the market refunds. If you are looking for a GTA experience, Gangster: West Coast Hustle works.

And thx for the mention of Scumm. I have used Dosbox for years and never even thought of that for my tablet. Gonna get me some of that Scummyness!

Back Up of Apps and Data before flashing

This may be a silly questions, but i have managed to put both the 1.4 and 1.5 version on the G2 and it works perfectly, im about to embark on the 2.0 Rom.

The question is how do i back up the apps and data i have on my G2 as each time i have to start from scratch or is that a byproduct of flashing your ROM.

I used Bob's earlier advice and backed up the individual apps with ESTask manager. It is free and a snap to use. I have Titanium but Bob mentioned it might not be good to do that because it is a different Rom. So, don't use backup data. Hope this helps.

Apps go in /data/app in which I have given 1 gig of space!
Are you getting memory low (RAM) or data space low?

Memory (RAM) is another thing. We only have 512mb and it can become low very easily when the OS takes up 1/2 of that RAM. So apps that run in the background all the time eat it up. Putting apps on SDcard does not help this.

I use an APP that allows you to stop some apps from starting up in the background.

Which APP are you using Bob? I have installed ver 2.0 and it seems to use more RAM with no apps running and the RAM usage appears to be heavier by comparison to 1.5. However, I must say what a fantastic job you have done. Speed is notably faster, graphics are 1,000 times better and I love the fact that you can use the full screen. Only problem I have had is that MX Video doesn't work using the hardware decoder but I suspect that will be ironed out when I upgrade to 2.0a. Overall - many, many thanks you are a total star - I have absolutely no idea how you have managed to achieve this - awesome.

Also, Bob. I am able to play some Gameloft games now but lost my ability to play Miniclip games. I have reflashed 2.0a. Not a huge deal because I feel I've traded up but was curious if it is related to the same thing as Temple Run.

I use mx player pro and is using HW decoding...this worked on 2.0 and now 2.0a

I was playing Fragger or Hambo with the 1.4 and 1.5 roms, both games worked fine and are both free.
