i can't get it streaming off my iphone to the x7. the x7 shows up on my iphone as an airplay device. i can even select it but the airplay option resets itself back playback on the iphone. my wifi is fast enough and it works properly with the stock firmware. any suggestions?

yes i know what u say...try to respring/reboot both devices and try again.
second, when some times option reset itself, try again.

This are the problems but works many times. I stream 4k video from my iphone to x7 without any lag.
but has problems to connect

This rom is mainly for movie playback indeed. The kernel cant be flashed as it is located in boot. So flashing a 720oc kernel is a no go.

I hear passthrough works from your responses so i did not forgot it right?

After sleep HDMI Passthrough is still ok, cant talk for SPDIF.
but after reboot/shutdown i have to change output to get sound again. ( In settings - sound - device manager) (From passthrough to another and back again)

I'm just not understanding why you don't have your ROMS tested by me or whomever before you release them? That way people are not wasting time reflashing and or restoring from backups or going back to an old version all together because it has less problems than the new one. Your ROMS are good, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that I would focus more on the testing before releasing is all.

But please note:
The nature of rockchip roms is a bit complicated.
Every rom will have bugs becuase the sources are not available or just partial.
We can not make everyone happy.
Fixing one thing will break another, there is No rom that does it all.
- To fix the audio "remember" bug i have to replace some things that break app compatibility ( live streaming apps ), still looking at a way to get this working both ways.
- To get low bitrate audio (1channel) we will loose 5.1 aac.
The only thing we can do is try to build a close to perfect base that suites most and search for the best way to patch things on the way.
If we ( all devellopers ) will test till its "all good" no custom rom will be available.
The the official firmwares ( wich should be the ones that should work in the first place! ) are worse then a small group of devs can cook here.
All custom roms are having isues of some sort, but they are dooing things better then stock in other things they are designed for.
This does not say we dont have to find and try solve the bugs, but if we stay searching a sollution for all bugs we wont have custom roms at all.
Custom roms would not be needed if the one with the sourcecodes ( the manufacturer ) cooked something that works as it should.

Live streaming apps are less supported like most roms but sound settings should be working perfectly.
