Think I bricked my box...

Had Wassers 4.4.2 install .092

The. I ran the rkbatchtool and selected your rom clicked restore... Now if I turn my box on it boots into boot loader for about 10sec then turns off..

Can't do anything now..

You need to continue holding the reset button during the entire flash process when reverting from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 ROMs.. had me stuck for a little while with this too

Thx... I held the power button and it worked... Still painful, but cheaper than another box

Tried different xbmc versions but none of them work really good so I go back to version 4

You mean you tried 04c and go back to 04?
Did the preloaded not work good?
Dit you try different fps rates? seems the 60fps gives better results then the 24fps here on the new 04c kernel.

I will add a 04a rev.1 to post #1, here the sound isues should be fixed with the stability of 04.

Hi Guru,
i tested 4c and everything work except the issue with USB ports.
c910 webcam don't work in OTG port and full size slot near SD card. Webcam works on other ports. Hard drive doesn't work with OTG port, but works ok with full size port near sd card.

Dts/DD SOUND

Hi,after hours of tesings here are my findins;

running Minix x7 HardwareGuru04
Onkyo receiver full HD
To get all sound configuration working correctly I've select Rockchip-SPDIF Passthrough.
in Xbmc sound settigs:HDMI 5.1
when movie starts select same settings in sound menu
Note:when I play via SPDIF settings I get hissing with AAC5.1 files.
No stutter with Dolbyigital 720p files in HDMI settings.
I get few crushes now and then and the system needs to reboot,not sure why
I was using Quickshot rom before,with this rom I've noticed sound quality improvements indeed.
Still buffer when playng 720p DTS files but I think is due to my intrnet speed.
Overall great rom and thnks to the dev. for the effort.
To sum up: In HDMI mode with all the option ticked I get dts/dd sound from all sound files.
This is a pre-release !!
Due to the lack of time some patches will be made lateron this week.

Specs:
- Improved gpu performance (not OC).
- raised lower CPU clock.
- Improved ram ( @ 720mhz )
- Removed minix launcher
- Mele f10 support
- 1080p kernel (Custom kernel)
- True 1080p ( no overlay )
- Some Guru patches
etc...

New in 04 pre-release:
- New kernel
- Improved HDMI detection
- Sound fixes.
- Init.d Support ( not tested, you need to root it to use it )


That was the less important .. now the important things..

What does it do?
- Smooth 1080p playback. (also in preloaded XBMC internal player).. YES.. SMOOTH!!
- It plays blueray .iso files and .mkv files in XBMC without frameskips.
- DTS/DD audio passthrough
- Preloaded apps: YoutubeHD, Skype3.2, QuickOffice, MinixXbmc Beta2, MXplayer
- Not rooted
Note: you can encounter some frameskipping in the first few seconds of a movie, after that it is gone.

Need root?
This is a basic non rooted rom for a simple reason.
- Everyone that needs root can mostly root it..
- People that dont need or want it mostly dont know how to unroot a firmware.
I made rooting over adb simple so most tutorials will work to root it. (ro.secure=0)

Overclock?
Only the ram has been set to 720 mhz.
The lower cpu is raised but the high cpu is still at 1608mhz
- The kernel is inside boot.img, no i will not take it outside

Flash Notes: ( READ this )
- Flashtool not included ( need rkflashtool )
- Unzip the .img and flash it with rkflashtool
- The kernel boot dont show a logo, so the first boot can give you about a minute black screen !! just be patiant !! the second boot will go much faster.
- When you first boot, wait till "Airpin starts" before doing anything or the app installer will abort !! you will end up without preloaded apps !! This can take some time !! just be patiant !!

Yes,I've ticked all of them,just to mention I am running justXBMC,not tested with other versions yet.
also any chance for Tronsmart Ts-01 support? at the moment the mouse is flyng all over the screen

Just lower your mouse pointer speed in;
Android settings > language & input > Pointer speed
