      Not problem.
i note that use of touch with TWRP is random, sometimes too sensitive, sometimes not enough.
In this case, must be pressed two or three times.

@Riley: not possible to charge with USB.

I fixed the typo...thanks for pointing it out. I made ROM's for both the M8HD and the M7 Pro on the same day, and pasted that part from the other thread (to save time)...I didn't proof read it, apparently.

Abdul, let me know when you have a fix for that TWRP and I will update the ROM kit.

          Thanks for your work.

I still have screen flickering after reflash, I guess I have different hardware. I don't understand.

It is possible that you have an isolated case of a weak display. You might consider exchanging it.

It only appears in 4.4.2, seems weird. I guess I'll have to wait until an official release.

                  Screen flickering

Same flickering problem for me...no problem at all with the 4.2.2...

Bad digitizer for my M8 Pro (1 cm of the right side unusable after 2 months)...

                    Hi,

Can you give your serial number to see if it can be a production error ?

Updated the TWRP for the M8HD. You will find it here. Please report back.

Expect some screen refresh problems, like when you select a button he get's highlighted but the screen freezes, in this case press a fisical button and the screen will snap off it.
I'm working on solving this issue, but it doesn't occur on my tablet.

I installed this rom yesterday, and so far it is the best one tested for this tablet. It is a real improvement when compared to others. No issues found so far. Recommended!

                        What I have observed:
                        - Interface is very very smooth.
                        - No flickering, including during the boot.
                        - Wifi working fine, same as before.
                        - Memory usage is lower, compared to JB.
                        - Multitasking works fine, with no lags.
                        - Response time has improved a lot when apps are being updated.
                        - The tablet looks more responsive immediately after boot. There was some random lags with JB (at least for me).
                        - I have tested the TWRP originally packed with the ROM. Some refresh problems, but not a big deal. I'll test the update later.
                        - Boot time is the same.
                        - Apps that I frequently use are running ok.
                        - Unfortunately, KK (not this ROM) no longer has the TabletUI, but the transparent statusbar is cool.
                        - HD videos in YouTube run without lag.
                        - I'm still observing the battery usage.
                        - No option to display the battery percentage in the statusbar, like for JB, but I use a mod for this.
                        - Camera works, but I don't use it. Can't say if quality has changed.

                        Great work, Riley!

                              screen bug

I have a problem with a flickering screen. Version 1.6.

                              Flashed twice with no success.
Tried use hardware overlays, disable GPU, disable Wi-Fi, 3g - but nothing helps.

This bug did not exists in previous 1.3 rom

It could very well be that there are some hardware variations that cause this problem. That's why it affects some but not all tablets. I did notice some flickering on another tablet after flashing to KitKat. The problem resolved itself after an hour or two of use, though.
