    Yeah me too!
I was very glad that there was no flickering etc.
It's just perfect. RRom 1.6 is just so much better than 1.3!

Don't know how to say it....

But.... I tried flashing this ROM and I got a strange result: in a very few minutes I got it working without any kind of problem... no apparent bricking, no flickering... and I also succeeded into restoring wifi connection and many other things, just in a "flash".... for now everything seems ok and I just need to try and getting confidence...

The ony thing I can say right now is that, just by reading carefully the comprehensive (and very well made) instructions and thinking a lil' bit before acting, I did it!

I will take really my time (quite a bit of it, actually) and I hope I will be able to give some feedback and test...

      For now just MANY THANKS!!!!!!

Only complaint, until now: wifi strenght is not much better than before, a little bit, but not by much... still not so good in comparison to other devices, also one smartphone with same rk3188 processor and android, but also other diffeent devices...

Has anyone experienced wifi signal weakness problems with M8HD?

I will continue testing it and report if anything is found. Many thanks again!

Same problem for me, I have resolved it by opening the tablet and change the wifi antenna position

Will test kitkat soon, thanks Randy

                          RileyROM 1.6 KitKat

Hello!! How are you?? Hope everybody is fine. I'm new in the forum.

I'm using RileyROM on my M8HD since v1.3. In both 1.4 & 1.6 the recovery can't mount the /system, /data, /cache and internal storage (didn't test it on 1.6 cause I use external sd) so I can't flash any ZIP.

Anyone has this issue? Or it's solved with the TWRP update? Anyway i'm gonna try it ASAP.

BTW this is a great ROM! Makes my beautiful M8HD fly!!! Thank you very much Randy!

                          Edit:

Checked with the TWPR posted on #1, it mounts partitions normally, and let me install some ZIPs. I'm sorry for bothering, should have flashed the update before asking.

In other topic, I see that in the U8, M6p & M7p the kernel was updated to 3.4. This kernel update is coming to the M8HD? just to know, because the new kernel 3.4 is much smoother on my phone than the 3.0

This new TWRP v2.7.0.0 is not mounting any partition's ?

If that's the case i will post here a new image to try to solve this issue.

                              Edit:
Just checked and haven't made a 2.7 for the M8HD, will update this one.

Is this on the first post Riley, isn-it?

If yes, i've flashing, under Linux, with "Linux Upgrade Tool" and i can select partitions.
But, in the header band, it's writing "TWRP v2.6.3.0"; normal?
