      Hi d33

Does the Rockchip April Kernel source have the new MT7601 KitKat wifi patch from 20 April 2014 or is it still using the old wifi from the beta sources.

Here is a link to the MT7601 v2.0 patch, maybe it can be included in your source to build kernels if not there already. By including the patch into the beta sources,my compiled kernel was about 1.5mb bigger than without. Still need to test it.

I did built a test kernel for my minix neo x7 and it boot ok I have some problems with the sound manager(I do have sound but not using my original board sound drivers, using generic rockchip drivers), with lan(not working) and some weird problem with video decoding on the original player and on any web browser(I have sound but no image)

Here is work in progress for kernel 3.10

          Test_4072 - tested working on CX921b (with sound!) - Antutu ~18,500

          CPU/DDR/GPU all unlocked

If I get some positive confirmations then I'll build a new (final?) series

I've been including MT7601 kernels in my releases. Test it, I've already had one person say it worked.

What was the agreement? Keep their code secret, keep your changes secret or both?

Does this mean you can finally use github to share between freaktab developers (and the rest of us that aren't)?

I then started again, downloaded Ubuntu, downloaded the tools, the source and then amended and compiled. The result was a kernel booting perfectly on the mk902.

I have now taken your sources and merged my code. I haven't tested yet but will do tomorrow. I realise the code I'm using is old but I thought I could send my amended source to you and you could merge again. We really need a Freaktab GIT!

Sorry for your frustration but if it got mk902 booting kinda happy about that!!! lol post me a link to kernel and ill test what i can with Smic rom.

Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

Haha - that's awesome. Can you post your .config somewhere so we can build a kernel with that source?

All (well, when I remember!) my kernels have .config included. Help yourself!

IMHO, you should clone that repo and work from it so that it is evident that you don't break your promise.

That will also have the added side effect that your work will be transparent, useful for others, and respecting the GPL.

My, am I a good convincer or what?

                                overclockomatic editor?

Hello. I recently modded overclockomatic_kk perl file since my DDR-RAM doesn't support 800Mhz OC, but it supports 768Mhz OC without problems (default 720Mhz), so I was wondering why nobody has been interested in develop some tool for tweak default values used on this patch ?

EDIT: edited overclockomatic_kk file and my device went from 17900 to 20700+ successfully!!!
                                [file download] << min freq = 504, max freq = 1728Mhz (T model) !

                                Greetings.
