cshock2010, I'm using my own mod where added latest GApps. And I do have gallery. AOSP apps names are GalleryGoogle.apk and GoogleCamera.apk. Nothing to say about gallery but camera is a lot better than one comes with Pipo ROM.
Also, just checked mounted original system.img and can't find gallery in it. Strange.

I am having serious trouble returning from 2.7 to 2.3. The tablet is completely dead. It isn't visible neither by RKBatchTool nor the other tool anymore. (.
As usual, I tried to erase the IDB and then flash the old ROM. But this time, after the usual reboot, the flash tool couldn't see the tablet. I checked the JB bootloader, I am sure of it. Any help?

ovecka, this is not a big issue. I have it every time downgrading back to JB despite doing everything correct and installing old loader first. Anyway, you still can enter maskrom mode without opening tablet. Once ther you'll need to format and flash entire stock ROM first before using RIleyROM. How to enter maskrom mode for latest Pipo tablets you can find on this forum, basically it's reset and connecting to PC while keeping power button depressed.

yup i've already installed GalleryGoogle.apk manually, i also tried GoogleCamera.apk but i'm wondering why it's not full screen, there's a black space on the right side and it's quite annoying. I just reverted back to one included in Pipo rom. Camera seemed clearer now than in previous roms.

I have the same problem the 1704 kernel not working for me in past roms.Anyone else can confirm that this rom works with the overclocked kernel.(anyone that the 1704 kernel didn't work for him in past roms)I don't want to flash the tablet for nothing.

Seems that M7 and M7T have the same hardware characteristics, is someone who understands the kernel can arrange we get more options for 3G?
Can be the difference just the kernel and not in the hardware?

Is it worth flashing this rom if I have 2.6 flashed right now? Do i have to flash loader going from 2.6 to 2.7?
Why don´t you flash the loader every time you flash a rom to avoid anything going wrong?

amshpitz, not all hardware is the same. Exactly radio module is different. Applications for SMS and phone calls are present in this ROM just frozen. But they will not work, you may try yourself using some app to unfreeze them. e.g. SystemCleanup.
Dennta, in my opinion it worth. Loader is different though. It's 2.10 comparing to 2.09 in 2.6. But flashing loader every time does not make sense. It was the same for long time for JB.

The best solution for apps is Titanium Backup or similar application.
You may use TWRP recovery for backup. Store backup on external SD-card. Use TWRP to restore after flashing new ROM. However, TWRP only able to restore whole partition which seems not a good way while making ROM update with some major changes.

Yeah I know it´s not necessary to flash loader every time. But is there anything neagative about flashing it everytime you flash a rom? Seems that alot of people forget to flash the loader when changing from JB to KK, and that would not be a problem if you just flash the loader everytime you flash a new rom, even if you don´t have to.
