Yes, same PC, same ports. I had flashed the tablet a few times with different ROMs before with no trouble. FYI, I was flashing RileyROM 2.4 from a RileyROM 2.7. I was trying to find a ROM in which the wifi worked fine as it was not working at all with 2.6 or 2.7 ROMs
Did you flash the loader going from 2.7 to 2.4? If you didn't, that's where you did wrong.

If you have 'dead android' it's defenitely not bricked state. ANd you should be able to get in loader mode. If can't do it by buttons combination, you can try use adb:
      Code:
      adb reboot bootloader

You really need to find that Pipo USB cable. It does matter. You may have a connection, but the data stream isn't good enough. I've tested generic cables before and got the same results. It shows a connection, but you can't reliably flash a ROM with it. Trust me.

And yes, reverting back from KitKat to Jellybean requires you to flash the loader.

Thanks to all! Let's see if we can solve this...

Yes, I did without the loader... I though (my mistake) that 2.4 was an Android 4.4 flash and that it was no necessary...

I've tried, but it can not find the device...

I am using now the stock cable, but nothing...

Let's try to open the tablet...

Why is there no portrait mode on homescreen? Is there some way to fix it?

There is no auto rotation on the homescreen. I can only use it in landscape mode, when I turn the tablet to portrait it doesn't rotate. Works fine everywhere else but not on homescreen.

                  I don't agree... my does

But i noticed something weird about the lib files. When i use the stock lib file for having better 3g signal, tab goes into deep sleep with a battery drain of around 15% in 10 hours, when i use randies lib file i got a battery drain of around the half but with a weak 3g signal. But now the weird: when i rename the stock lib file, so that it doesn't work, the tablet won't enter deep sleep anymore and takes about 50 in 10 hours....

So on my M7 with RR 2.7 both cameras (back and front) work fine.

The libril file I add is tweaked to allow deep sleep to work as designed. It really helps with the wifi only tabs...and works on the 3G models, but compromises 3G signal.

So far we don't have best of both worlds solution. You either get good 3G with bad battery life, or deep sleep and sucky 3G.

If 3G is important...then stick with the stock libril and just turn the tablet OFF when you aren't using it. I do that anyway on all of my tablets.

                          Hi!

Finally I have succeed in unbricking my tablet! I did it by shorting the pins. It was easier to open than I expected!

Thanks to all for your help!

Now I'm back with my original problem. The wifi works for 5 minutes after flashing the new ROM and then it gets disconnected and does not connect again. Any idea on what may be happening?

While you have the back off, look at the solder connection for the antenna wire and make sure it isn't shorted with something else.

The only thing different with wifi in my ROM is that I increase power from 80 to 100 percent. It could be that this setting is too high for your particular wifi chip...an unlucky tolerance in your hardware.

                              Thanks Randy!

Does it make sense that it works for 5 minutes and then shuts off? If it was a shorted connection would fail from the beginning, wouldn't it?

For the first minutes it works really well. Smooth and strong wifi signal, and then, suddendly stops.

It may be due to heat. It takes 5 minutes to heat up to the point of shut off. Again...it could a hardware issue with solder connections...or yours just can't handle running at 100 percent power.
