    A big thank you

I installed 2.7 with 1704cpu. I just had to reflash the TWRP recovery.img as you advise in the first post. Everything works fast and smooth and stable. No reboots, no battery drain, good WiFi.

I was using 2.3 before. 2.7 is really faster.

Two of my friends just received their M7 and are also enjoying your ROM.

    Great job!

    Thanks a lot!

    Roger

Have you tried it with 'dead android'? Actually. it's recovery mode with an error but tablet should be detected by adb. In case you have wrong loader you'll not be able to get into recovery mode too. And if tablet is not detected after
      Code:
       adb reboot bootloader
than you may have Rockchip USB driver corrupted for some reason. There are no miracles in this world. At least with Android.
oops. To late. But I'm still sticking to the point about opening was not necessary.

I think he's back up and running...we are just trying to resolve his wifi issue now.

But i noticed something weird about the lib files. When i use the stock lib file for having better 3g signal, tab goes into deep sleep with a battery drain of around 15% in 10 hours, when i use randies lib file i got a battery drain of around the half but with a weak 3g signal. But now the weird: when i rename the stock lib file, so that it doesn't work, the tablet won't enter deep sleep anymore and takes about 50 in 10 hours....
Oh, I thought it was something in the rom because I saw that someone else said the same thing in an earlier post. I went back to 2.6 and now it works fine again. Any body else that have problems with auto rotate on homescreen?

Look in the Unofficial TWRP Recovery thread.

Has anyone tried to backup system.img using that TWRP for M7 and get it mount? I have some doubts about recovery.fstab.

I have the same WiFi problems - works really well then after roughly 5 mins it stops working - though it looks like it's still connected. If I restart WiFi it's OK for a few more minutes.
Is adjusting power back to 80% easy?
I didn't have this problem with an earlier ROM from a few months ago - is this something you added in later ROMs?

                      Thanks,
                      Matt

Some people said that unable to see internal SD from TWRP. I've just compared recovery.fstab in TWRP and stock recovery. Found few mismatches, to be honest, for all mtd partitions and internal SD. Have no time to try it myself.

                            Hi!

I was trying some things Randy told me and it seems it is solved, but not exactly as expected...

I installed ES File Explorer for some file changes, but before doing those changes I connected to my WiFi with the ES file explorer net manager and just with this it is working very well now!

I'm glad you got it going.

Can you give more detail on what you did with the net manager?

I had the same issue with the 2.7 launcher. Try using a different launcher. I solved mine by using Nova Prime.
