Wish List for MTK Tablet ROM's

This is a sticky topic.

I've edited post #1 with a more detailed list of things we need in order to provide you with a custom ROM for your MTK device.
The listed information is essential in order for us to even consider making a ROM.
Also, it's important to provide a link to a complete factory firmware or ROM dump from your device. It must be a complete ROM with all of the files required to flash with SP Flash Tool. A recovery update usually is NOT adequate for us to make an entire custom ROM because many of the necessary files/parts are missing.

Can you provide a link to the firmware? Or provide a ROM dump?

I cant boot to recovery it hang on logo thats why i cant flash the update. Im thinking to flash your custom lava e-tab ivory because it has the same system specs as mine. Then i will flash the zip update via cwm of the ivory so i can provide you the dump rom you need. Is that a good idea?

If you can boot to recovery mode (hold vol+ while pressing power), you can flash that ROM. Once it's installed, you can provide me a ROM dump so I can create a custom ROM.

It would help me out if you could install this ROM to your tablet....and provide me a ROM dump from MTKDroidTool. I have trouble making ROMs from update.zip files. That way I can have the whole firmware, not just the changed files to work with.

Not sure what happened to my first writing. But as you can see while I was rooting ,my phone with king root my ROM, I guess got disrupted. This big red word demo is a problem and would like to get it off my screen. Hope I'm in right place. Also my clock is force closing now too. Not sure if that was cause but I assume it was. I use busy box, titanium backup and build properties. I have ROM manager but a little Leary of that program. I think this partition is in the works as far as development from what I've studied. But this site seems to be the closest thing to this getting this type of system straight as far as what I see here.
Hope you can help.
Thanks
Marc

Thanks for the update.
I will make a new thread for this in the MTK Phones section.

Our only hope is that the factory releases a KK firmware for your phone, I'm afraid.
