Since I don't own one of these tablets, you will have to be the first tester.

All of the cool stuff is in the RileyROM folder. Changes made to boot.img and system.img.

You can use the SP Flash Tool provided in the ROM kit, or the one from the factory firmware.

Included in the kit are two alternative recovery images. One is a test TWRP Recovery...if it boots as stock recovery, there's something wrong with the tool I used to make it. The other one is a CWM Recovery I tried to make with MTKDroidTools....again, I don't know if it works or not. So I'm anxious to hear a report.

Just follow the instructions in the First Time User's Guide in the root folder of the ROM kit, among all of the SP Flash Tool files.

    Download

If you report positive results, I will start a new thread for further discussion of this ROM.
thanx a lot but you need to wait until it'll arrive... 1 week I hope!!!

I did leave a note in our developer's forum for a little help on that one. Maybe one of our other developers has experienced a ROM like this. Don't give up hope, entirely. Keep checking...we might have something for you...but it's beyond my own current capabilities.

    afraid of that,thanks anyhow!!

    The ground rules are simple.

We need to know the Brand and Model of your device, and we require a link to the official factory firmware for your device. Some spec information would be nice like NAND Flash capacity, what MTK chip is in the device and the actual screen resolution.

So, here is the format you should post:

    1. Brand Name
    2. Model Name/Number
    3. Which MTK chip is installed
    4. Link to stock firmware or a ROM dump from your device
    5. Total NAND flash capacity
    6. Screen resolution

Please post your request in that format, and wait to ask until you have a link to the firmware because we can't possibly have access to every factory firmware on the planet without your help.

We may need to add some more rules as we go, but this is a start.
    rca voyager 7"

thanx but i'm waiting my teclast from factory so take your time!
i'm only wondering if is it possible to use firmware updating for 16gb (version 1.10)
because 32gb lack for update (version 1.01)
some kind of frankenstein style firmware
    ciao

In order to benefit from the rooting...you need to use the system.img and boot.img. I really can't see why it wouldn't work if the only difference is in the amount of NAND.

I'm kinda tied up today, but I will download the firmware you linked and put together a new ROM from it.

Remind me in a few days if I haven't posted something.
