so far i got the rom on followed the instructions but no mouse to connect to mini usb. i even tried to cut off a usb mouse ans splice mini on lol so i rerooted to get back in. so got to the point with 1st bootup after clockmod and can blind click while flipping around tab to get into settings but cant find caliberation area lol any ideas

i did follow directions 1st try but couldnt get it to unlock because no standard usb port. I messed around trying to unlock with my fingers but after a bit i rerooted and tried the first boot way. so 1st time tried all the steps but 2nd tried to see if it was in settingsComment

I wonder how RVP2 got it to work?
I am working now to see if I can get the calibration to show on first boot up.

OK so I'm just thinking here Bob is it possible to just get rid of the llock screen? Does that even make sense? Cause it seems the lock screen is an issue. Just throwing ideas out there.freaktab art developer

I, followed your direction on the rom. Than, rebooted with cwm. Connect the mouse, I have a usb micro too standard female connector. Used mouse too unlock like you said. calibration screen. That was it. I rebooted again right after that too make sure it was ok. It worked no problems have rebooted twice since.

Yes easy to fix because you are rooted.. Go into /system/app and rename wizard.apk to wizard.old. However make sure you have calibrated before doing that.Originally posted by rvp2 View Post

FYI, I am still trying to fix the calibration force close on first boot! If I can fix that, a mouse will not be needed.
I am not giving up yet but it is turning out to be a BEOCH! It all revolves around the screen lock. And no, I cannot remove that. It is built into the framework and is one of the features of this ROM.

I thought thescreen lock would have to be dug in deep since its the first thing that pops up im going up to best buy here in a bit to find a adapter for the mouse I look to see about ordering one to try and get it next day all the ones I found were in china. This is still kicking my butt......
I have given up trying to get it to work out of the gate. That is the calibration on first boot. It's just not going to happen.
Now I am going to look for a work around. SOme way to launch tscalibration or open the lock screen with a button.
I havent given up completely yet! Needing a mouse to get past first boot is just not a viable solution for most people.
