All our banter back and forth today has been about the resistive Bob and myself have just kept it going in this thread the problem is the lock screen and callibration issue,that's why I wondered which screen you had.

OK up this AM and ready to work

I have come up with a better way.
I will remap volume up in the built ROM. Then I will provide
nolock.apk
Buttonremap.apk

You will flash the ROM, then reboot. You will come to the lock screen. Use volume up to unlock.
Calibrate. Run nolock to remove the lock screen. Use button remapper to map back the volume button.
Uninstall button mapper.

You will now always have a working system. If the calibration routine ever needs to run again, because lock screen is now off. You will always get to it. However if you want to have the lock screen always, you will need to leave volume up remapped.

the rest fo the instructions below that special area is stock instruction. But if you have not read them before please do! There is a lot to this ROM.

so how are you running this one already debloated and ready to go or will we go thru stages

so far so good just ran thru all the rebooting i let it settle for about 5 mins after first boot just to make sure now working at set up let you know in a bit

so far beautiful Bob everything has went well i noticed even with lock disabled the lock screen has popped u[p twice on reboot will keep you informed

ok update upon reboot lock screen comes up even after disable in lock app if you move lock with finger it works but callibrator comes up screen does not respond to touch if you use volume up to unlock screen then callibrator still shows up but screen responds to touch so far everything else is just fine KNOCK ON WOOD have not run into any issues

If you reboot using the reset hole, it will cause calibration again.

If you power down using the power button, it should not cause calibration again. Lock screen should be off.

Please test proper power down.

However all this maybe for not.... I think I found an alternative tscalibration.apk that over rides the lock screen.

I am going to have you test it but lets try not to do this with a ROM flash. Get ES file explorer from Google and have it ready on your SDcard. I will send you the new tscalibration and you will simply replace it.

ok tablet suddenly went all exorsist on me screen started doin what it wanted to touch home browser would open touch settings home screen would come up i let it settle with screen off and now were good installing apps and were fine so far

If the screen gets wacked out, you lost calibration or it did not calibrate correctly.

Again remember on the Arnova if you do a reset and not a proper power off, it wants to run the calibration again. I wish I could test this stuff but the calibration routine will not pass on my capacitive screen.
