But there were many other hiccups with XBMC and Skype etc, so not quite ready i assume.
    Skype issues are solved.
XBMC video playback is now perfect with SPMC v13.3.4 beta 1.
Avoid the Kodi ones for know until Kodi Helix Final is released.

Well, then i'm leaning towards this one. But i wonder how the Tronsmart Draco A80 stacks up against this one?

            micro stutters

i just got my r89 today and played around with it stock before flashing to finless 1.2 Before finless, no micro stutters from my tronsmart tsm01 air mouse. After finless, micro stutters all over randomly I thought it was a bad flash and was considering re-flashing.

I have the same configuration, and the same problem. You can try to put the remote receiver on the left side usb entry....first mine was put behind.

And try to install seeder app(by xda).

You will see improvements. Make sure that the remote is fully charged.

              Let me know

If the problem was because of that, then you have an 'on-air' connection-problem between the receiver-dongle and the air/fly-mouse...
I fix it using an 'USB extension cord' or at worst case an USB-HUB to have a better (direct) 'on-air' connection between the receiver-dongle and the air/fly-mouse (it could also fix an interference problem with the 2.4GHz WiFi)...

HDMI CEC was only released on 11/11/14 by Rockchip, will need to use newer firmware or custom ROM.

                            Hello!

I finally got my Beelink R89 2/16gb box this morning.

The thing seems to work well, but I have a few trouble.

First of all, I had version 110k4 in the box, which seems to be the most recent. I tried installing a few games for the kids and most work well, but asphalt 8 wouldn't open at all.

I also tried to get Kodi to start but it wouldn't. Rebooted the device, but it wouldn't start either.

I then tried to read a 4k mp4 I had (displayed at 1920x1200 as my u3011 doesn't take higher with hdmi) but every installed reader failed to display it correctly. The video were fine (no artefact) but displaying about 4-5fps and sound playing normal speed.

I decided to switch to wasser 2.0.2 with wasser-kodi to see if it would fix the issues.

Now, the video that were working fine (1920 and lower) aren't anymore. Low resolution 720 plays ok, but without sound while more demanding video (streaming from PMS) show green color and no sound.

They won't work like they should even if I download them from my lan or wifi directly to the box

Wasser Kodi won't start either... Tried a reboot, uninstall and reinstall.

I installed 1 game to see if it was working and it is (sound is also working).

Any tips for a first timer with the R89?

I have some problem with asphalt, even worse someone had played it and the account was banned. Anyway I used xposed privacy module and managed to get a new account. Worked great for nearly 1 month, now it crashed at start with wifi, I can play offline only. Tried to reach support, still waiting. Good game though, hate to not play it. I tried reinstall, and reflash rom, nothing helps.
