The HDMI input sounds interesting, but will the firmware support it? In other words, if I connect my OTA DVR to the input can I use this box to view the TV streams?

        HDMI 2.0

Correct me if I am wrong, but this will be first "computer" of any kind in history with working HDMI 2.0 4k@60Hz proper support. Somehow it is hard to believe, but we will see soon.

If it actually ends up to be true and working HDMI 2.0, it would be of great use as testing device for TV sets with alleged HDMI 2.0 support.

            Hi Tina,

            Seems HDMI 2.0 is dropped?

Tina, this thread is under monitor of a lot of people, as it has really caught some attention with the 4GB RAM option.

I am going to be extremely conservative in my next purchase, there is clearly a blow of trust generally in RK chips.

HDMI 2.0, i see myself upgrading in the next 12 months in to 4K, so that's a must.
Faster INTERNAL Storage, and when i say fast, i really mean it, it has been the weakest point so far, even a 2009 phone has faster storage. Storage interfaces are very welcome (sata/esata), even M.2/mSata or PCIe ports would do a lot, but i was always belittled for this being too luxury, but stuff like this can make us dig deeper in our pockets.

ps, what is the use of HDMI IN?

I see, you add it there, thanks. Can we expect that HDMI 2.0 actually means 4K@60Hz with no chroma sub-sampling (4:2:0) workarounds? It would be great if someone from your company could test it and upload YouTube video of web browsing in this res/refresh rate.
As I said, if that really works as expected, such testing device for HDMI 2.0 would attract LOT of interest.

Effect of HDMI IN function is to convert. you can take the DVR with our box is connected together, and click the APK called HDMI TEST to SWITH and see the DVR contents. it is support 1080P

so i will prepare 1PCS sample for you?

                    heheh...

                      4gb ram 32gb model

I originally found this model because I was looking for something with more than the 2gb of ram that everyone else sells and after going back and forth with the factory(with Tina's help) they have agreed to make a 4g/32g model but want a 30 order minimum before they will begin production.
Since I don't need 30 I had a brilliant idea and Tina has agreed to group our orders together so if at least 30 of us place an order then the factory will produce them.
The price is $180 with free shipping and a 30 day lead time. You would need to create an order on ali express for the base model then Tina adjusts it then payment can be made. She will post when minimum is met so everyone can pay at once

I created a post in tv players for sale if anyone is interested

If someone confirm or test that this device support proper 4K@60Hz, count me in.

I am on the fence untill we have seen some solid testing and reviews. It looks good on paper but all that glitters is not gold.
