Why did you try to install tablet firmware on a TV Box, there are so many hardware differences?
Hope you can get it fixed soon

              mo123,
I falshed the firmware HPH onto my Ugoos UT3 from the link you sent me via XBMC forum thanks.
              All went well.
But when i start the UT3 it asks for a password to decrypt storage.
Any idea what this means ?
I cannot start the box without a password.
              Thanks.

It doesn't ask for a password.
Only if firmware wasn't flashed correctly.
Try formatting and flashing the firmware again.
Follow post #24 and flash again

Also try to build the firmware image but with your boot.img and resource.img and my firmware.
The flash tool can split your stock ROM into the separate files.

                  Thanks for the info.
I erased .. then reflashed and it still asked for password on boot.
I then copied resource and boot images from UT3 firmware into HPH new firmware .. run bat file to create new images.
Then i flashed the UT3 again with the newly made firmware, it still asked for password.
So then i copied the image file from the new HPH firmware into the UT3 original firmware .. run bat then flashed again.
Now all is back on fine .. but it obviously says HPH in menu . .about device.
I really wanted to flash all of the new HPH firmware to my UT3 but the password problem is stopping me.
I will keep checking for your excellent info on these boxes .. many thanks.

                      Hi all

I'm about to order one of these and I've been in touch with Candy as well. 2 questions, which might have been answered before:

                      1) DTS-HD passthrough
                      2) Netflix on HD? Does it work?

Might do 1080p but the bit rate won't go higher than standard definition.

You will also find it at ****... but e.g. 'usb male A to male A' will give also female as result so you have to look through the result list...
