XMBC PROBLEMS

i wanted to do a review of this device but i want to fix some things before i do... i think i messed up xbmc because i used the fusion optimizer thing (i didnt try it before doing that) so what dosent work is the following: simply player, icefilms, USTVNOW, MASHUP.....so that makes xmbc practically useless since the only thing that seems to be workoing is 1channel.

ALSO 1 of my USB ports is DEAD.

I have replied you about the new firmware link by email.
one of the USB port nearby the HDMI OUT port is using for reading USB Key and Hard disk not for Mouse and air mouse.

Third-party XBMC plugins has nothing to do in this thread.
You will only get help in the appropriate plugin provider's website.
Instal SPMC for better compatibility and uninstall the current XBMC.

Hi Tina, hi guys. I'm new in this forum. I'd love to buy one of these TV boxes. But I have some questions first, hope you can answer them:

• I have a Full HD TV, not a 4K one. Will this device output at 60Hz on my TV? I've read it will output at 30Hz on 4K's.
• Is this the right place to order? And is that the current price ($189)? I want the 4GB / 32 GB version http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Andro...999602114.html
• If I ordered today, how long until I get it? I live in Perú (South America)
• Is video playback smooth yet? I've read a few pages back that it was still "stuttering".
• In the current (or upcoming) firmware, will all the apps be in english? (I saw some screenshots, and I love the interface, but I can't read anything but spanish and english, so I'm a bit worried).
• Can I plug USB 3 external hard drives? Or they should be USB 2?
• Does it fully suport third-party air mouses / keyboards / gamepads?

You can change everything to English,Spanish or any language. You can install other launchers too, to change the interface.
• Can I plug USB 3 external hard drives? Or they should be USB 2? Yes, but will run at USB 2 speed, which is slower for file transfer and reading big files.
• Does it fully suport third-party air mouses / keyboards / gamepads? It has 3.10 kernel so support 99% usb mouses, air mouses and keyboards. Most gamepads should also work if they are not unknown brands.

I believe its the same as the HPH tv box.
I put my box into high res mode .. 4k and i cannot see the tv screen now.
Can anyone give me the remote changes i need to get to the display menu and change the resolution back to 1080p,
Remember i will press the home button and then do what you say to get to the display menu and change back to 1080p.

Go to the nearest boxing TV store and ask a representative to let you put the box on a TV UHD you can change the resolution ... otherwise it's like playing hidden ...

My Box doesn't show a signal on TV, maybe it was also set on 4K or a firmware issue.
There are no 4K TV dealers in my country, what now?

Just a thought, have you tried a factory reset? I don't have this box but it may reset to the default.

I had the same problem, no signal hdmi or analog. I fixed it by connecting a dvd player to hdmi in then disconnect it and signal came on.

Connected an old WDTV to HDMI in, that also didn't work.(Only other HDMI device I had)
I tried an old HDMI cable that I had and boom, It works.
Saw the HDMI settings were on auto, maybe older TV's don't work well with that.

The device is really fast
- boots up in less than 3 seconds compared to 3-4 minutes for my old RK3188.
- XBMC takes 1 second

The UT3 firmware is exactly the same as the beta firmware for HPH Nagrace box on their website.
The beta firmware doesn't have a data but it's from 12 September 2014, newer than the other Aug firmware.
