Maybe see if my new custom ROM with 12/11/14 firmware works better, later this weekend.

I guess I need to msg Tina or Candy.
It says 5V 3A Max.
A 2A won't have enough power for an external hard drive or intense CPU/GPU usage.
I remember with my RK3188 device that came with a 2A power adapter, it gave me lots of reboots and freezes until I bought a new 3A power adapter for it.
The 3A power adapter I bought has EMI and other electric resistance, the long wire is 2 wires that are twisted and against each other. Also it feels about 3 times heavier than the 3A one that came with my HPH RK3288 that consists of a single long wire.
I know there are also AMLogic boxes that have similar freeze problems and replacing the power adapters fixed the issue.
Maybe they use 2A power adapters now to save costs or ran out of 3A adapters.
It's a 99% chance that is your problem.
i couldn't quite understand why everyone has stability issues and my setup runs great for hours without any problems, know I know.

HPH Android TV BOX RK3288
@mo123 You speak the truth, Beelink also ships the wrong power adapters. This causes application crashes and the like with undesired results. 2 amp adapters won't cut it if you are even using an external powered USB Hard drives or CPU intensive tasks.

Maybe the fix can be included in HPH Roms.
