One last question before i am going to flash. How does it work with older TV's? (with the a/v connected) does the sound etc. works proper? Cause i use the box on a Full HD screen (hdmi) and on a older CRT tv (a/v)
Thanks.

How it the HDMI connected to the box - power?
Seems when i play the radio via xbmc it works fine when my TV is on, also on standby (lil stutters) but when i power off the TV the radio pauzes.. (like it feeds from the connection/power with the HDMI?)
Tried it 15 times and everytime it pauzes when i remove the power from my TV / turn it off.
When the box is connected via HDMI its some how connected to that HDMI which makes it pause.. never had this with the older rom from you smic.. how can this be fixed? I dont want to be forced to put my TV on when im playing radio.
(its connected HDMi for TV and for sound its digital connected to my reciever)
Also my antutu is pretty low compared to the other rom. I used the 1.7 kernel.Last edited by INFIN1TY; 26 July 2014, 21:44.

power down from hdmi been in every rom hmmmm, it takes in suspend when tv shut off, maybe Smic have setting different on this one.
did you flash image or the kernel selection as i had box running hot on the kernel selected 1.7 but ran faster better with the image file, and you will always get preformance hit in 1080p.
everything else running good. Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

I flashed the kernel section. It does run a little hot, maybe ill reflash it with the included one.. (thats a 1.6??)
So you connect HDMI and the sounds mutes when you turn the TV off but the box remain on? I assume you connect optical then.
Its normal behavior, the SOC detects you are connecting hdmi and so when you are not connected anymore hdmi it cuts the sound, because it theory its not need it anymore since you just turn off the TV. Try the kernel bellow and let me know it its working.
The hdmi mute is already disabled in the kernel, the only think that could be is that when the SOC detects there is no longer HDMI connection, it assumes you are connecting DVI and cuts the sound.

The box is connected via HDMi for picture and optical for sound connected to my reciever. It plays fine - also when my TV is ''STAND-BY'' but when i turn it off - it pauses the player/radio. As in actually putting it to PAUSE. When i put my tv back on and set it on my HDMi 3 (the one where the box is connected) i can press play again and it starts back playing.
I'll try the kernel you posted.
Thanks.
