I installed the app and got this result

what do you think is t or not?
Says it's genuine, but you really have to pull the heat spreader plate to tell.
My MK802iv came with the same thermal plate and I bet it's the same adhesive. Best to warm the device by leaving it somewhere well above body temperature. Fairly warm, not hot. Gently pull it up on the spreader plate, starting in one corner and peeling off to the opposite side and placing shims in the peeled surface area as you go. I used a cut up plastic gift card but anything thin will work.
Good luck. With patience it will come off.

Hi SMIC,

I like your ROM at lot because of the rotation ability. However, I have the RT8723bs Wi-Fi chip. I managed to put a rt8723bs kernel on your ROM and the Wi-Fi works. But BT does not. I even tried copying 3 BT related .so files that are different from the stock ROM but it does not help. I wonder if you know what I need to do?

I wonder how do you plan on putting the heatsink back on? Do you have thermo adhesives?

I have a mk809iii with the ap6210 hifi chip and installed your rom v4 and everything works fine apparently, but I have a problem since I changed some kernel, s included in the rom folder into subfolder kernel, if at all they always get the same result in the no-frills program: freq.max clock = 1416, freq.min clock = 312.
I tried 1.6_600_667 and 1.7_600_667 kernel, do you have any idea what the cause? and do you have any suggestion to solve this.
thanks for the great work that you do.
I pulled the thermic plate and the chip is the 3188 -T . Is there any solution or kernel to reach at least 1.6 ghz . would be optimal for me.salutations

Most kernels from custom ROMs allow you to overclock the RK3188-T to 1.6GHz. Have you tried No-frill CPU control to check if your CPU is already overclocked to 1.6GHz?

yes I checked and tried various kernel, s unsuccessful.
but today I've got success with this ( http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post248159 ).

Tronsmart mk908ii compatible ?

Hi,
I own the Tronsmart mk908ii device. I tried, I think, all possible KitKat ROMs and all of them have video / audio sync issue playing Netflix. JellyBean ROMs work without issues.
Is this ROM compatible with my device ?
Thank you!

Well! This Rom works with 3188 Rock-chip and Ap6210 WiFi-chip so great. Just this is for the MK809iii and you have the MK908ii....I don't know what is the relationship between the model and the hardware......I suggest u do more research and/or ask Smic personally before trying anything....Have a nice day
