the main settings maybe, sound alot like the problem i had on my 720p , but thats what the patch in finless rom is for, but that will not work on 1080 i guess
Does you tv also say its in 1080p mode ?

In your readme first.txt file you are still referring to the "old" Finless Rom 1.7

If they can't figure that out.. Them they should probably remain with stock since they'll likely have limited needs.

MX Player is NOT integrated in the ROM! WHY???
Since Mx Player is not integrated in the Rom I have to install it myself.

Now the problem/difference:
DD/DTS Pass-Through works flawlessly with MX Player in Stock Rom but no chance with Finless Rom.
Whatever I put in the settings....MX Player always sends 2ch Audio to my AVR.

XBMC doesn´t matter I can set it up on both ROMs to pass through both codecs.

Anyone an Idea?

MXPlayer from store does not have the DD/DTS enabled because of licensing issues. You have to manually add this functionality. see http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps...pport-t2156254

I know that and I did that. I can play titles with DD or DTS Sound but still no pass through!

Possibly I found something! Please try yourself. After having used XMBC with working DD/DTS Pass through it does not work with MX Player anymore.
Now do this:
- Settings
- Apps
- choose XMBC
- force stop the app
Now try again mx player pass through.

It did work for me with the Stock 107k4. Don´t know if my error report is really based on the finless Rom.

Since I´m Fine with stock firmware I don´t want to swith firmware again.

off topic, I'm looking for a long term supplier for s802 box's and hopefully s812 once they come out. right now i am debating working with Tomato or Netxeon/BeeLink. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I download fifa14 ...install, but the app forceclose after start.

Wow 1.8 and 107k4 are out im still running 1.7 finless on my s802h anyone have either flashed that can recommend one or the other.

I see both come rooted

Again BOB you rock.

love the boot animations. love the little things that many miss when looking at these roms, you removed everything bloatware as well as even the little items like download file folders yet you download and the file is there. root works as it should every little thing is looked at even the size of the folder counts. root access for xbmc and cpu adjustment, sweet ass rom stable and quick.

Compatibility with Elite

Somebody asked before but there was no clear answer. Is this ROM compatible with S89 Elite version? I'm mostly thinking about different WiFi chip, but maybe there are other caveats? Thanks for great work, Bob.

They made a firmware that's basically generic covering all vega so no worries.
