Could someone please tell me what it is and whether firmware is available?
PCB marking "G_918(RK3128) 1510" was covered with white paint, as per CPU-Z the actual chip is RK3188...

hi there, am new to this forum. me already searched in this thread, and tried a lot of roms.

me got this device since a week or two, rooting does not work (tsparkly, simple root-unroot-tool).

Andoer CS918 RK3188T (2GB DDR3, 16 GB nand) 4.4.x
board: rk918 v1.20

in the lower right corner is an rtl chip, but i cant figure out the labeling. (same at the other processors, to dark). i tried to make the sticker away from the cpu, but that was no sticker, its silvergrey, on the cpu and it cant removed only scratched.....i hope that this is only a kind of cooling and no transistors are damaged).

I have the same PCB like toshik1. This model dont run kodi nice and look after 30 min. Is there a fimware that works? als SPMC dont work.

I have this CS918 v7, I was able to make a backup of the stock firmware by following the tutorial by "Bob". Does anyone know if there is any firmware that supports DTS/Dolby that can be flashed on this board?

The specs are:

MOTHERBOARD: CS918 V7.0 20141208
CPU: Rockchip RK3188T
RAM: 1GB
NAND: SK Hynix H27UCG8T2BTR (8GB)
Audio: Rockchip RK1000-S
Wifi Bluetooth: Realtek RTL8723BU
Rockchip RK616 Ethernet: IC Plus IP101GR

I was trying out the runtime from dalvik to art. After the reboot it went into a boot loop with the "android" word showing. Need help to overcome the boot loop. I hope I have not bricked the unit. Where can I download the rockchip usb driver. Those that I have downloaded are incompatible to windows home xp. My unit circuit board is XT-Q7V-V10.

hi, i have this box,
please give me link of stock firmware as its stuck on red light only. no progress after that.
chip is RK 3188T and model is with bluetooth

Same board as above. I have the same problem, hit power button and red leds come on for 5 seconds, then off. No tv output and the leds never turn blue. I searched EVERYWHERE for a solution but found nothing. And NO, it's not the power supply, tried several. Anyone?
