Can anybody confirm for my box..if any of wassers firmware works with this pcb...K-R3188 V4.3..nobody seems to be confirming that it works...its like im lost in the dark...or they may have same box as mine.. And what custom roms are they using thanks.....pics..attached...thanks in advance...

I think it is the K-RK3188-V4.3 without BT and at the moment I don't know anyone who have find a custom rom which work at this version...

Yes it is..the one without bluetooth....so no custom rom for it...bad news for me...then.....

There is really no chance for my pcb board of having a custom firmware...very sad..anybody here have the same as mine..thanks... K-RK3188 V4.3 BOARD..NO BT..

Hi guys, i just got one of these devices, and the board is HLSX_X6_V12 the same one pictured in post number 2 sixth one down. However, it seems there is not stock or custom rom available for this device. I tried patching the kernel which is actually in the boot image of the rom for this device to fix the stuttering issue, however, the patch doesn't seem to work with this particular kernel. I still get stuttering after patching the kernel using the rkpatchomatic-master tool. Is there any other way to patch the kernel if this tool won't work? I'm just interested in smooth xbmc playback, and this particular device with this board revision sucks at that and on the whole the device seems really laggy, maybe could be due to the fact it's using a RK3188T cpu. Whenever I try to used my usb keyboard mouse, it goes all haywire, pressing a single button sets of this never ending clicking, it keeps clicking over and over until i pull out the usb nano receiver for the keyboard/mouse.

Just got Q7 the other day, the stock rom is Kitkat. LAN an BT work. Not sure from this info, can we tell which PCboard version it is, without uncovering it?

There are 4 screws under the rubber feet which you can remove...
After that, it's really easy to open the case....

BTW, I had a black sticky pad on the Rockchip, instead of a heatsink, like some in the first post.
I just pulled it out.

Does anybody have an idea what is the reason for sticking that pad on top of the processor?
To keep it warm?

XT - Q7S - V02 I think it is a Q7 with Camera and Mic (for skype)

I bought it from ****, I'm struggling to get it rooted (I use TPSparkeyRoot) after installing the moborobo and getting the USB to seemingly work, TPSparkeyRoot goes through no problems no errors but when I run Root Check it gives me a Big fat NO!! Any advice would be appreciated.
