So, first try with linux fw for eny device. Second, try connect box to tv directly.

I'm an idiot It was the correct version I was trying but yes I am posting in the wrong thread. I used the link in the first post of this thread and downloaded the eny em8 Linux and the issues I have a still relevant. I've another m8 coming in a few days so may try on that as you mentioned clone possibilities.

Does this install support 7.1 audio pass-through?

Since Odroid announced their open source powered S805 board with Android and Ubuntu 14.04, what is the likelihood that we could see from you a full Ubuntu for the S805 powered devices like the CX-S859 (sold by Geekbuying and others) and similar 1G/8G boxes? Full Ubuntu will mean access to some repos for other software on top of XBMC/Kodi.

The S805 might have less raw power but it will have HEVC decode so it's perhaps more future proof.

Also I am curious as to how much of the storage space your own Linux uses and how much is free for other use?

HardKernel has already published Ubuntu for S805....

1Gb Image.... If only this could be made to run on S805 Android boxes like the CX-S859 - I'd definitely donate for that and for each box I buy!

                    Live boot?

Any way to make this a live boot (off class-10 sd) so I dont need to flash my devices firmware? Thanks, Jim

You don't need to be pushy... we have all been already migrated to openelec:

                                Can;t get internet

I go to network manager in programs and my SSID and channel # comes up but it won't accept my wep number, either hooked direct or wirelessly. Keeps saying unconfigured number. Any help for this? MX111 2 gig.
