My device is http://www.amazon.ca/MXIII-Android-Q...3&keywords=mx3
I believe based on reading a lot, it's the same as the http://www.amazon.com/Tronsmart-Andr.../dp/B00JGGK8II which means your Linux ROM will work with my device.
I honestly looked through most of the replies in this thread. I have a few questions I can't seem to figure out from this thread. I want to be sure before I flash.
Is this a real linux? Can we boot to a desktop?
Can I run terminal, create text files etc that will stay on device. Can I make it boot to a desktop?
Can I make system modifications? /etc/init.d rc.local?
What Linux source is this based on? Ubuntu, Archie?
People ask, can you support Kodi 14? What does that mean? can I not change the source repository and install a different version? This is linux right apt-get and all that? (probably answered already above)
I am really happy you made this ROM, more so if it works with my box. I hate the Android on this box which to me is limiting it's capabilities. I can't believe nobody has made a full-fledged Linux Media box. Just Android crap. Crazy. What you offer is maybe almost that.
Thanks in advance!
