      How do you intend to edit fstab with ES while on recovery ? Besides it wouldn't have any impact, it has to be done outside the device.
      What was your idea ?
      if [ $up.post.type = $type.two.lazy.to_use_google ] || [ $up.post.type = $type.silly_question ];
      then mv $user.contact.up.post /.trash; set response($response.type = ignore);
      $user.up.post.ignore_in_future = true; fi;

        I'm beginner in TWRP ! I thought that etc folder under root is the same etc folder under recovery!!!

        1) is fstab a text or binary file ?

        I read that TWRP rename fstab to fstab.backup and copy etc/fstab to twrp.fstab when it starts or something like that.

        2) I use TWRP made by Finless for Draco. I thought that would backup 100% and restore 100% like a ghost!!! While testing different roms ,I use TWRP to restore another rom AND I lost some features !!!! That how I realized that TWRP does NOT backup 100%. For me, the source of that problem is that some missing folders in fstab . That's why I want to check the content and add other folders if I could to make 100% backup.

        That's the whole story !!!

        3) my question for you is: could TWRP make 100% backup and restore 100% like a ghost ?

        Thanks for your help !!!

          For me the question is can I use TWRP / CWM Recovery to take a snapshot of my Device. It need not be a complete clone.
          Bit, for it to be of any interest to me I need to be able to recover enough to be able to log back into Google Music, without having resorting to creating a New Device every time I ever need to reset, or update said Device.

          Otherwise I lost my interest in Backing up my Device died with 109k4 Since 108k4 does not exist for the AP-6181.

            Abdul?

            [QUOTE=yhaddad;277420]There is a bug, the external sd didn't mount, I can't choose this option 0MB... And its failed to restore, the backup successful but the restore failed.

              1) fstab is a normal text file.

              2) The recovery for the Draco was made by me, modded by Bob since i don't have a A80 device. TWRP doesn't jump/miss folder's, it might lack some partitions on fstab.

              3) Yes, if the it backup runs without problems so will the restore.

                  What problem ?
                  On first image External SD was ok ? At least you didn't report it.

                  SDcard, Data, All are just one partiton. so why would you back up the three and them restore them. Unmount data, backup data&SDcard, wipe them, confirm that nothing is there and restore later.

                  Of course that when you report that something isn't working, you should provide detail info,logs , etc...

                    On the first image the external SD wasn't ok.
                    I attached pictures, see post before please.
                    When I tried to backup, it failed and the restore also failed.

                    I just want to clone the tv box, backup whole system abd restore on same m8c tv box.

                    Thanks again.

                      1) If I unpack TWRP.img and modify fstab and repack it, would that work ?

                      2) if I want 100% backup should I see every folders under root in fstab ?

                      Thanks

                          Yes.
                          Fstab defines partition table not folders.

                          Do a full backup, goto file manager(in TWRP) and copy the Android folder from SDcard to where you made the backup.
                          Wipe everything
                          Restore backup and copy the Android folder back to the SDcard.

                          You should have everything as it was.

                            Thought backing up to SD was there? im using 109k4 version and i backed up my mx3 to SD and then transferred to my computer, or am i missing something here?

                              I'll attach the logs in 2 hours.

                              But do you know why there isn't sd partition? Did you see my pictures with errors?

                                External SD mount point might be wrong. Did you remove external SD and put it back on to see if it get's pick up ?

                                Boot to android and give me the output of the command 'ls -l -R dev/block' also.
