    need helpn installing snakekiller

    can get 2 the rkandroid found screen but there is no RUN button on the flash screen only on NFS $ RAM screens is there a RUN button-what am i doing wrong??

      If you get hold of any of the older roms you'll see the rkandroid 1.29 tool. If you manually select each of the components for the flash (i.e. system, parameter, etc.) and copy the numerical values from the flash tool in this release over to the 1.29 it will work perfectly. Erase IDB as normal & hit the old grey run button. All will be fine. I had to do this for the same reason

          some people report they have no run button in the latest flashtool .

              Bob - I reported this ages ago (and helped a few others with the same issue). In some windows devices on the new flash tool you can't see the 'run' button at all. You can see all the settings, but there's no action buttons to do anything. Doesn't matter if you change screen res or app size, same thing occurs. I just used the old tool with manual select & ensuring values were the same - worked for me & others as well.

                  flash tool

                  i looked at the flash tool for snakekillers rom theres not even a erase idb button im using windows xp 32 bit no run button or anything

                    Everything shows up ok on Windows 7. I use my net book with Starter Edition for all my flashes.

                        The text for system.IMG etc looks large. Have you changed the system font?

                          im not changing it.
                          maybe try compatibility mode and open rktools again
                          maybe this helps.
                          no problems here on my windows 7 home premium with a netbook

                            Sorry, not the flash tool but now you have me thinking.

                            I'm away from my laptop so cannot investigate myself but I'd be checking the following.

                            If we change windows to use large fonts, display properties, appearance, fontsize. Do we.get this issue?

                            Is the font to use specified in the config file or ini file for the flash tool, if so it may not be available on some pcs and the substituted font may be too big.
