First of all thanks to Bob for his work. The room is great.

One thing i noticed though: the xbox 360 controller works but the right analog stick is not working like it shoud. It moves down and up just fine, but left right diest work with the stick. It works with the left and right shoulder trigger tough. So it must be wrong mapping as all the other buttons work fine.

I think only way is to use the original kernel of the MK902II because the chipset support is part of the kernel...

I'm not sure if I had used it, but I think you can extract the 'all-in-one.img' with the RKAndroidToolv2.3
            -> [Advanced Function] -> 'Firmware' [...] -> [Unpack]
and then you can flash the boot.img and the kernel.img (hopefully both exist, because if I remember correctly Bob separates it into these both images instead of both at boot.img (kernel and initramfs))
Because I don't know what will happen / first read, worst case you can find an empty kernel.img at my stock-rom-dump

resource.img is super important to match with the kernel!

So if your trying to use another ROM at least user kernel and resource.img

Thanks Bob. If i have understand is , if I get kernel.img and resource.img from stock rom and replace to
your custom rom 1.2 , its a valid rom to work with RKM Mk902II (all htc boad ) .

                  Thanks again

                    Hi Bob,
I am very much interested in flashing stock kernel and resource files for my R28 Pro because the infra-red remote is no longer working after flashing 1.2 rom.

would you or anyone with better knowledge of flashing tell me if,
I can flash just kernel and resource file from stock rom on top of my current 1.2 rom using the same flash tool used earlier?

and if I can than, would doing so remove all my user data?

or if someone could point me in the right direction to get stock kernal without removing all my user data and settings?
Really appreciate all of your work and everyone here helping each other
Thank you in advance to anyone who could help.

I cant even seem to manage to get kernel out of the boot.img that i extracted using rom flash tool.
spent nearly 4hrs atleast looking for the solution with no success at all. even used the latest RKxxx firmware tools with no result.

can someone direct me in the right direction please.

                      thnaks

Kernel is compressed and the perl script for unpacking boot leaves a bunch of zero byte header data and trailer data. You have to open the kernel in a hex editor and trim off this null data to the EXACT bytes the original kernel had. That's what I had to do to pull the kernel out of boot.

                          Thanks for the reply Bob.
from what you have explained, it seems too complicated for my basic understanding.
i think I will just stick with your really stable GOOD Rom and not worry much about IR remote not working for now and not able to connect my PS 4 controller via BT (which it let me connect on stock rom).

also I would like to say that SPMC plays very well with your rom.

                          Cheers...

Maybe you should have a look at 'Android Image Kitchen' (I use 'Android.Image.Kitchen.v1.8-Win32') http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2073775
I didn't test it jet at rk3288 boot.img but had used it at the past at other devices and only interested in the initramfs, but if I have a look at the 'img-zImage' (which you can find at the 'split_img' subdirectory) I can't find any leading HEX 00 but some at the end which I think doesn't madder because the kernel is always smaller than the partition...

I did nothing that would have broken PS4 via BT. The stock ROM should have had that issue too.

No worries Bob. Not worried about it much,as I could still connect my Logitech controller.

Can I make a request, if you could give stock kernel in a separate folder for next release, so for noob like me we could use the remote that came with box.

Really appreciate your help and efforts.
