I've achieved several ROM changes with many devices, with many cables, without any problem.
I' m quite sure that the Cube Mini issues commonly reported in this thread are related with power and/or electrical problems on the Cube side.
Personaly my first Cube failed, the first day, with a charger problem, and similar ones are repeatedly mentioned in this thread and others related. It means that cable becomes an issue because Cube power is itself an issue (for example if the cable is too resistant or the PC power too weak).

To conclude I shall stay now with your excellent ROM already loaded and ...working.

CWM recovery method

I've found out on this forum your
Clockwork Mod recovery for Cube U30GT 2 dated 12-29-2013, 11:23 AM

This method has the advantage to get rid of ...cables and Pc.
I've already used it on a smartphone and it is straightforward.
The question is : may I use as zip installation file your cubemini11jb.zip ?
I shall test the method.
