Hi,

I just installed on my Tronsmart r28 the openhour chamaleon firmware (ver 1.0.10). All work very well, no stutters for now and Tronsmart IR (v2) works!!! Incredible!!! Only the power off button of device doesn't work.
The firmware has a nice home launcher....

I extracted the Open Hour firmware and installed the system.img and it kind of works on my UT3, the odd crash from the open hour launcher.

The only way to get no stuttering is to use a device with very fast EMMC.
Eg. HPH RK3288 or UGOOS UT3.
Other devices with Nexneon boards mostly have stuttering.
(Don't know how to spell it correctly)

For those of us with the nexton boards, can we use a super fast microsd? like this one

@mo123, is the v1.4 based on nagrace v150107? Or is it the other way around, that they released their firmware and incorporated your changes?

V1.5 will be based on 07/01/15 firmware.
If you read the dates next to my firmware you'll know when it was released.
My firmware always has several improvements that the stock firmware doesn't have even if it's not based on the latest.
I forwarded several improvements to Nagrace so maybe they will release a new firmware next week or thereafter again.

Yeah, I noticed in their changelog some things that you had already implemented, that's why I thought maybe theirs was based on yours

Don't want to release my new ROM now before all the improvements/fixes are made by Nagrace.

Want the ROM to be one of the best.

Google Chrome double tap to zoom and one finger zoom. I have a Rk3288 tablet and in landscape mode there is that problem too, in portrait instead it works well, maybe the issue is landscape related.
Another issue: in chrome this site http://www.vvvvid.it/#!show/112/tokyo-ghoul (and the app vvvvid) does not work.

i have a ut3 also without a fan so i will still use your rom on that unit and am looking forward to it.

almost forgot hope you are putting gotham or spmc on as opposed to the new kodi. the new stable kodi is too new at this time for some of the good addons to work properly ,popup error messages and so forth. Id be loading my own spmc anyway but sill thats my recomendation fwiw. I think spmc 13.3 is most stable on these new rk3288s in my opinion.

Despite complaints of bloat in 1.3 I enjoy some apps there that are missing in 1.4 and have gone back to it on my personal machine.

Are you going to wait for a 14 SPMC official release? I dunno how far off that is, but figure you'd be more likely to be in contact with koying.

Since late Dec 2014 all the firmwares have broken Home button.
That's why I haven't released a new ROM yet(would have done 2 weeks ago) until the Home button is fixed.
Hopefully it will be fixed next week.
