polaroid ptab8000 8" ics tablet. got su, but cant get market on it
I managed to find the stock ROM, which is complete. I'll take a look at it when I get a chance. It shouldn't take much effort to get a modified 3e recovery together. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it could boot one of my Nextbook recoveries, I just need a volunteer to do some testing. It should definitely be able to use the same root and gapps packages as the Amlogic Nextbooks.
I used to have a PTAB.
My dad has one, maybe I can persuade him to let me use it.
first post to this forum, just bought a ptab8000 at Grocery Outlet for 70 bucks, willing to help anyone who needs me to do some testing on it,
currentlyrunning v2 firmware rooted with AIO 1.6 and full market with 2.1b, also modified to recognize external sd as internal
runs pretty slow, netflix stutters a little, video calls dont work right half the time. but still a pretty cool toy for the price. would be swesome to have a custom rom on this thing, probably would make it work great for all i want to do with it.
