gyro is good

orientation is good in all directions.

For touchscreen, not yet good.

up origin is OK.
I can go down but at only 75% of the touch screen ( where I touch the screen)

For width, left origin in not good 10 % (echo in the screen) , that is 40% for touch screen ( where I touch the screen) : I can't go all the way left.
right origin is not good too is only 90%, for touch screen is 100%
: I can't go all the way right.

I think you are not far with kernel 12.

The left part of the screen (40 %) has no touch input.

But the right part is almost good, there is a small ratio : When I touch at the right , the cursor is at 90 %.

And When I touch the bottom, the cursor stop at 90%.

If I am at 40% in X, when I go down, the cursor is almost under my finger

I don't think there is anything else I can do without Rockchip/pipo support but I'll keep thinking

I notice that CT36x driver reports no platform data. I don't think it is important as it clearly works but I've amended the source to incorporate platform data

Also I found a different dat file in my public 4.4.2 sources (Five_F304_89_1920_1200_CT363_V06_03C2_130403.dat) so have built one with that.

It is worth noting that SteveJC was the only M7Pro owner to have a CT36x touchscreen. It would be very helpful if others could test any kernel post 1.12 to see if it works on the Goodix touchscreen versions.

Sometimes I think I was the only one with a M7Pro

16 is almost the same except that is reversed for X : when I go right, cursor goes left

Can you update the change for gyro , will try the dat file I found an 4.2.2 source

What about cameras / GPS / etc ? Is the CTL363 touchscreen the only problem?

I've added all the 4.2.2 dat files and another couple I found in 4.4.2 sources and pushed to git again

They are all in input\touchscreen\ct36x_ts and the ct365.c source file has all the dat file names in but commented out. You can build a version for each and test yourself!

Let me know if we get a winner
